I also hate the “work wife” expression tbh. It feels like it’s making work relationships too personal for me and I like there to be a line there that isn’t crossed. I love that the new Cardio god immediately susses out that Cristina is brilliant but that she hates her. A nice gift from Owen though I suppose! I think this method of teaching from her is perfect for Cristina. She’s always wanted to be able to be more hands on and this seems a lot safer than how Burke let her be hands on when he wasn’t able to be and a better fit for Cristina than Hahn was. The yellow guy really does look quite a bit like Homer Simpson… Well richard being drunk again might explain more of why he’s been the way he has for the last while. Fun fact, i don’t remember if i’ve mentioned this before but the actor that plays Owen is actually Scottish. And his real accent is a quite thick Scottish one. I think he does a decent American accent all things considered.

Patrick - Excelsior

Don’t let Izzy’s old teacher fool you, he is a lizard demon with a tail that works for Glory. Plus he died on Private Practice. I think Bailey was referencing the cardio Doctors that Cristina worked with that would suddenly leave, often after having some sort of issue with Cristina. Burke ran off after leaving her at alter. Hahn had issues working with Cristina because she thought Cristina had “slept” her way into her position, plus Cristina helping to cover up what Izzy did with Denny. Cristina constantly complained about Dr. Dixon, the cardiologist with Asberger’s Syndrome. Now I agree, none of these were Cristina fault, but I think Bailey was trying to make the point, quit complaining until you get to know the person. I hate saying it, but I side with Alex too. She should have confronted him before leaving. Give him a chance to defend himself. Verify if he did it and what he said and why. Just running off is showing him no faith or trust. She was fired because she gave someone some medicine she shouldn’t have and made the patient no longer eligible for a kidney transplant which resulted in a Bailey Private Practice crossover. So the Chief has fallen off the wagon.
