I like this season more than S3. At least on par with S2, but S1 is still the best.

And yes i dont like retconning major deaths, but ultimately having Sara back outweighs that.

To answer if I think this season is good or not, my 1 word answer per request is yes. And I also think retconning the end and saying it burned down is weak, but they prob had the way out planned if 3 was a full season, so they just had to hope people didn’t think to much into it not making sense I think the reason we could believe she lived was them covering their bases by saying LJ didn’t see her killed in season 3, just heard what he thought was her killed. And then Lincoln barely looking inside box. They did that season 3 I think just in case they got her back. Now if they showed a body double actually being killed on screen, and then brought her back, that’s another story.

Also as far as the season, the movie, and season 5, basically season is 24 episodes. And then the 25th episode dropped after finale and they call it a movie because it’s basically 2 episodes long, and is a side story that takes place before the finale. And yes, season 5 was done years later bring most cast members back they could, and was like 10 episodes long season.

It was called a movie because it released that way on DVD & blu-ray. later on streaming they split it into 2 episodes & added it to season 4 to simplify things

Sorry for the lack of comments again, Life getting in the way by the latest roadblock seems to be cleared. I'm glad they ended season 3 they way they did. It worked as a season finale for me. Yes, I like season 4 I remembered slightly incorrectly. The Guy Whistler bought the Scylla card from (Jason Lief) was supposed to be introduced in the last few episodes of season 3. Had the strike not happened the last few episodes would've had Michael track down Whistler. This entire episode would've originally been the real season 3 finale. The spinoff Prison Break: Cherry Hill would've been about Jason Lief's wife, framed by the Company & trying to escape. Where episode 2 starts is where season 4 was meant to start had there been no strike. If I remember correctly in the last few episodes of season 3 would've continued on with T-bag in Sona winning over the inmates & rising them up to riot which would've been in the season finale. He would instigate chaos, the prison would be set on fire & he, Bellick & Sucre would use the distraction to escape. Sarah living was a retcon. They didn't expect the massive backlash they got over killing her so a half assed retcon was made to explain her return. Weak, but still nice to see her back. The movie that followed season 4 was a condensed story of what the original season 5 would've been had the show not been cancelled & the season 5 that happened was many years later after The X-Files revival was successful, The Fox network looked into their back catalogue of shows & said "Hey Prison Break, that used to get us ratings, let's give that a revival too"

Season 4 actually has 22 episodes, then came the movie which was split into 2 episodes on streaming. Some sites claim there's 24 episodes (the 22 plus the 2 split episodes (aka the movie) and then on top of that they count the movie once more as yet "another episode" making it "25 episodes") But no worries ..I've got it all set and scheduled accordingly 22 episodes plus a movie followed by a weekbreak and then Season 5 follows

MyDanishThoughts

Yeah, you can definitely feel the writes trying to wrap up season 3 and starting season 4, in this episode. I don't hate that they did that, because I do like this season more than 3. No season is better than 1 though. In regards to the tattoo removal: the show makes it seem like you can just do that in a few hours. I work with a guy who wanted the remove the tattoos on his forearm. It took months with several sessions. After each session he had blisters on his arm. I get it would be strange for Michael to disaapear every once in a while, so it is just suspension of disbelief, and that is ok.
