This is a fun episode, I remember it being one of my favourites of this season when it originally aired. I really sympathized with Ada. Bad Doctor though, kissing a woman without her permission.

out of place for the episode, but not for the season. There was nothing wrong with the australian stewardress mentioned.

I loved the little callbacks in this episode, both to Doctor Who canon and to the real world of the 80s and 90s . The “gobby Australian going to Heathrow was a reference to Tegan, a fantastically opinionated companion of the 5th doctor. The young man who was so good at providing directions, Thomas Thomas, referred to the Tomtom an early device used in you cars for providing directions long before Google Maps or any of the current applications came about

Alright Shan throw up your gang signs cos the Paternoster gang are back! West syyde! Ma’am! British people used to refer to women as ma’am not mum! 😂 but only in posh circles. I hope your food was good because this episode was not. Fuck fuckety fuck this episode! The 100th got done dirty because the 50th anniversary is coming up so we get filler red Doctor Victorian shit. Not even the Doctors funny thick northern accent could save this one. I did find out that Jenny's leather catsuit was an homage to the outifts Diana Rigg (yes Lady Olenna Tyrell) wore in The Avengers, (no not that Avengers, the British television show from the 1960’s) (side note when I told my grandfather about the new Avengers movie coming out he did say “aren’t they a bit old now, and aren’t some of them dead”) Clara sees herself in a past life for the first time by looking at the Victorian era photo of herself in London, (The Snowmen) cluing her in that she really has lived more than one life, which the Doctor confronted her over in their last adventure but she doesn’t remember. So it’s pointless, so ignore this. This wasn’t the only time Matt Smith and Diana Rigg would work together they later appeared together in Last Night in Soho (Rigg's final film before her passing) Jenna Coleman and Diana Rigg would later co-star in the second season of Victoria. Episode MVP: Ada. She did all the heavy lifting. Not gonna lie I almost felt an emotion coming on. The Doctor was very red, like too long in the sun tomato vibes. Knicker rating. It gets some Pantalettes, 1940’s massive body covering under garment that you never let anybody see, except maybe your husband on his birthday. Until next time. Don’t forget to tip your uber driver.

This is the closest we will ever get to an actual spin off with the Paternoster gang, because Moffat was too busy to make one. Also the mother and daughter in this episode (the old woman with the leech, and the blind girl) are mother and daughter in real life as well. Must be cool to act with a family member, being a family member makes the chemistry more real. It's similar to acting with your partner, who also plays your partner, like Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton in Stranger Things or Tom Holland and Zendaya in Spider-Man.

I didn't realise until I was looking up something different that the evil old lady was Lady Tyrell from Game of Thrones (Diana Riggs). And the actress that played her blind daughter is Diana Riggs real daughter Rachael Stirling. "Thomas Thomas" gives directions like a GPS. Tom Tom is a manufacturer of GPS devices. My Jeep has a Tom Tom GPS in it. The end part that felt out of the blue was originally going to be at the end the previous episode, but got moved to this one. Probably due to time considerations.
