That scene with the book cover with the Carol kids on it....harsh. You would think Siddiq being a Doctor would recognize the signs he is suffering from PTSD and talk to someone about it. The end there was showing that Carrol did not halucinate the whispers the strung her up. She got shot by Carrol and got away but died from bleeding to death.
