I really don’t like the Sam and Addison story. I just don’t buy them as a couple at all they don’t seem to have the chemistry at all to me. It’s interesting how Naomi and Gabriel flipped their positions when it’s someone that Naomi wants to save and he doesn’t really care and if anything he wants to lose. I’m not really a big fan of either of them though… Great to get some more backstory on Amelia. And interesting to hear about how she was with Derek when their father was shot in front of them. I don’t remember if we knew that about derek yet? I went back and looked at what violet asked for and yeah it is ambiguous. She asked to “work out a schedule” and “So I figured we could transition Lucas very slowly. Start out with daily visits, then maybe an overnight, maybe one week with you, one week with me...” In my mind the end goal of that is the split with one week each etc. and that’s what she wanted to transition towards, but i can see how it could be seen as the end goal being fully her custody. she doesn’t actually specify. Every time there’s a “drive safe” in a TV show you know shits about to go down. A bit of a cliffhanger!
