I love it when normal shows suddenly introduce crazy, high-stakes situations. The stress is part of the fun because you genuinely have no idea what's going to happen. I loved seeing everyone's reaction to the shooter and how sudden it was for all of us. These kinds of episodes are always my favorites in any show. It doesn't have to be a shooter, just anything with huge life-and-death stakes. Even if no main characters die, I enjoy the tension of them possibly dying. But I also hate when characters I love actually die, so I suppose I'm a bit contradictory. I want my characters to be in dangerous situations, but I never want them to die, lol.

I liked it when Cristina tried to stop Meredith from going to Derek and Meredith chucked her across the closet. The technique that April used is the one recommended by police and Feds in a hostage situation. Be sure the killer sees you as a person. Try to identify with them. The killer got in the operating room though the other door. The OR has two doors, one from hallway that they use for the patient to enter or exit and one door from the scrub room. The gurney the patient is on would not be able to fit through the scrub room. Sloan telling Lexi he loves her earlier. Then when Alex is on table and Lexy is saying she loves Alex. Ouch! Then Alex is talking to Lexy but thinking its Izzy saying “don’t go”. Double Ouch! These two episodes are amazing. The tension and emotion is non stop.

Keep in mind that the strategy to "humanize yourself" isn't a guarantee and it's not the only advice that law enforcement gives you Hollywood likes to make things look more simple than it is in real life ..In a real situation like this you're not guaranteed to deal with a person that will care who you are if you tell them about yourself ..You might in fact give them more reason to off you ..Whether that is to shut you up or just to do it for funsies Humanizing is a way to try and get out of the situation ..But it's best to try and stay calm ..Listen and obey commands ..Don't start any arguments and if SAFELY. possible ..Get the fuck out of there.. Get far.. And hide somewhere you sure is safe Maybe a place where guns aren't given out freely with a cup of coffee :P

I have never left a comment before as I've never caught up to the point you were at in a show. I know i could of still commented but did not feel like it. These two episodes are my favorite at this point in the show. You have not reached my all time favorite episode yet i will let you know when you reach it. About izzys season 6 story I heard somewhere that she had more scenes that would of made the story make more sense but the actress kept not showing up to set. I could be wrong though. So its not entirely the writers fault. Mh favorite character character at this point is Lexie she is adorable. My least favorite character is Owen.

Definitely the most insane couple of episodes of the show so far! I love the way they did this episode in terms of how they did the start with him walking around the hospital and the full circle of Cristina being the one that gave him the directions to Derek's office. April annoyed me so much on the bridge. Just annoyed me in general these last few episodes really but specifically on the bridge. Good acting but infuriating as a character. Strange cliffhanger with him closing his eyes then immediately opening them next episode. They did originally air right after each other so it was more of an ad break i guess than a cliff hanger but still a bit odd. Cristina saving Derek’s life and asking if Owen was ok was very powerful. While I’m not a fan of Owen at all, I am enough of a fan of Cristina that it sort of makes me care what happens to Owen for her sake. Even though i’m not convinced him still being around is a positive for her… Very sad about Meredith having the miscarriage but I really respect the way she carried on doing what she was doing. Even though Owen isn’t worth it. A bit of a cop-out for us to lose 2 characters that we haven’t really seen much but it is what it is.
