1x3 The Bear always makes me hungry. Sometimes all you can do is keep your side of the street clear. Molly Ringwald pops up at the beginning of the episode to reinforce this mindset on Carmy who is trying to change the way things work at ‘The Bear’ Ebraheim says the more he learned about Michael the less he understood. I’ve never heard a truer statement about one individual. 1x4 The episode's title, 'Dogs' refers to the hot dogs Carmy and Richie serve during a catering gig for Cicero at a kid's birthday party. I thought it was like a play on words ‘let sleeping dogs lie’ but no. So many sleeping children! Oh dear, I honestly thought someone was gonna freak out when they found out but nah nah nah. Sugars husband Pete, is the nicest most in-touch with his feelings and doesn’t mind verbalising them character I’ve ever known and the families treatment of him is like a reflection of how they deal with their own feelings, or at least that’s how I see it.
