Hello Shan are we recording? Jamie Mathieson who wrote the episode named Rigsy Moorhouse after the best man at his wedding, and the train driver was originally named Perkins, after a friend of Jamie's but Perkins was already in Mummy on the Orient Express so he was renamed Bill which was originally the name of one of the passengers. Filming was halted for a day because Jenna Coleman was attending the Glamour Women of the Year Awards ceremony, where she was named Best UK TV Actress. Joivan Wade (Rigsy) and Michelle Gomez would later co-star in Doom Patrol. Honestly this was when Dr Who was falling off for me, not quite the juggernaut it used to be, but looking back Capaldi makes this so much better. His scenes in the TARDIS he is practically dancing with his words and the way he uses them, which is weird to say coz my first time watching had me sleepy go nite nite on the sofa. I name you. Decent. 6.71 million viewers remember that number.

Huh, never thought of the anti-abortion angle for "Kill The Moon." If that was the intent, then it lowers my opinion of the episode considerably.

This and the Dalek episode early in the season are probably my favorites for this season. I find the monster concept quite interesting, and its nice to see Clara being more independent of the Doctor, and the Doctor being a bit less of an ass, closer to his usual self.
