Oh god.

I have such fond memories of this show! It was the first soap opera I ever watched, and I was super addicted. I especially loved Lindsay Hartley, who played Theresa. I joined the official fan club, went to fan club luncheons to meet the cast, etc. Yeah, the pilot is a bit cheesy, but it picks up quickly and has an impressive first few years, though the later years aren't as good (but are still cheesy fun). Justin Hartley got his start on this show (he joined a few years later as Fox Crane and was married to Lindsay Hartley for a few years), and he went on to play Green Arrow on Smallville.

I remember Passions being on the air and the Timmy doll being in the well. I didn't watch it myself but it was a big enough deal for daytime TV that word spread. It was on the magazine covers at the supermarket checkout and people were talking about it. So when Spike said "Timmy is down the well" it's something people were actually saying around that time so they could get home and watch in time. LOL 😂

The writing is so bad. The acting is so bad. The music is so bad. How did this ever make it to Episode 2 lol?

Chris Peacock

Do I like this show? Nope. Why did I ask for this show? For Spike of course.

Since it’s a soap opera so who cares if you had missed the beginning, I was gonna have you watch the episode where Timmy feel down the well, but I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t even find evidence it was a real plot point of this show. So since the tier was for the pilot, I went with that. This was my first time watching it too... also my last. I’m so sorry. Lol

Chaotic Cam

The only thing I know about Passions is Timmy falls down the bloody well, lol. Out of curiousity, what are the other two pilots Chris requested if I might ask?

I’m not sure if she wants that to be a surprise or not, so I’m not gonna answer but I will say I don’t mind it not being a surprise if she wants too say.

Thanks for watching this. Now I know what Passions is. From what I can find; Timmy on Passions never fell down a well - that's Timmy from Lassie. However, that Timmy also never fell down a well. Lots of standup comics had a Timmy down the well routine, that seems to be where it started.

I love Passions it was my favorite Soap. I have to admit though the first season was very ridiculous but that's what i ended up loving about the show. The acting and everything was bad but i loved it anyway.

Chris Peacock

Oh and I've actually been at this tier since you started Patreon in January. I was your first Patron. lol. I don't need even more episodes to make up for it though. Just wanted to correct you since I'm a know it all. :)

Shashank

watching this for the first time here....ain't gonna lie its amusing

UTU49

Seriously Chris?! Hilarious choice. It will be really depressing if I remember this show really clearly. :D

raymond julien

Other than Timmy, I can only remember a house on fire...that seemed to last for weeks...oh so typical laid on thick soap opera...hmmm...have you ever seen Soap...a laid on thick parody of soap operas...OMG there is no end to the nightmare...nightmaring?

UTU49

I found a shiltoad of Passions eps at YT. I'm gonna watch... some and report back with links to Timmy.

Emma goldsbrough

Was not a fan of the show, all I know from this show is what Spike has shouted out.

SparkleIsHere

lol I use to watch this show when I was little. Don't remember anything except there was a witch and that's about it
