The Alpha reveal blew my mind the first time I saw it. It was also the first time I saw Alan Tudyk as a villain, and it’s one Hell of a performance!

Alexis Cardarella

Alan Tudyk blows my mind. One of the best god damned episodes so far

Allan Cornett

I really like how Joss has taken heroes from Firefly, Mal, Zoe and Walsh and made them villains on his other shows. I love the reaction when you saw Walsh.

Zoot!

I nominate this episode as one of your best! Great stuff!

Chaotic Cam

Just pointing out you said please don't die again regarding Alpha/his firefly character. D;

Moon Logic

Alpha seems to have smoked a lot of weed in order to be able to keep his various personalities under check. That is probably why he seems so stressed, because he has to use so much psychic energy to keep his more dangerous personalities from bubbling up.

Emma goldsbrough

I love this eps so much, Alan Tudyk really plays it really amazing in this eps.

Wonco the Sane

Your laughing at the end... I can't stop smiling. :D So, is Alan Tudyk "Wash" forevermore?

Bruce Trogdon

It's a shame about those villainous knifing episodes he has because I'd like to see Steven Kepler and Paul Ballard exploring different buildings every episode.

raymond julien

I think we've all had that moment of breaking into confused maniacal laughter.

I am completely in agreement there..... It broke my brain a little to see the joker that played Wash slash Victor's face. Alan Tyduk played this so well.

Whoa! I nearly jumped out of my chair when I heard that slip of the tongue in the middle of the episode. It totally went over my head the first time around, and I never rewatched the series. Click like if you know what I'm talking about. But no spoilers!

I've been waiting for your reaction to this for so long. I remember when Alpha was first brought up and you said you wondered who it was going to be, because you knew it was going to be someone (actor) that we'd recognize. So glad the reveal caught you by surprise.

I watched Dollhouse before I saw Firefly, so Alpha was MY introduction to Alan Tudyk. Seeing how you've already uploaded the videos, I'm not giving anything away by stating his performance is AMAZING! It's SUCH a shame Fox didn't give this show a chance because he had the potential to go down as one of Sci-Fi's greatest villains. Alpha to me is right up there with Joker, Angelus, and even Hannibal Lecter as one of the most complex, interesting, frightening, and entertaining bad guys ever. These next couple of episodes will give you a new appreciation for AT as an actor.

Shan: "I don't know if I'm gonna watch all three episodes..." Me: (looks at title) "Oh, you SO are…"

I've got a theory. Alpha was deliberately overacting so that Paul Ballard would feel stupid for not suspecting him.

Also... I've got a theory some kid is dreamin'... and we're all stuck inside his wacky broadway nightmare.
