It’s always funny when I see people not get the point of what FitzSimmons logic is. If they die they stop the endless loop of failing to save earth. If they live then they are one step closer to saving the world.(if time can be changed) Based on 3x15, being in the future, seeing all the loop paradoxes with them creating artificial gravity, future yoyo and the experiment they did this episode there is no reason at all to believe that time can be changed. Everyone is hoping it can which has no scientific backing or reason to be true other then we the audience Expect it to change. The only reason you believe it is because you know that the earth won’t be blown to pieces because then no show. And all this about disobeying leaders orders is funny when daisy just became leader and is being too strict to fast and is choosing to risk civilians lives instead of listening to intel that would stop hales plan. She also always disobeys orders. Hell coulson ordered them to focus on the mission and not to focus on keeping him alive and daisy disobeyed. You can’t pick and choose when orders have to be followed. Either there are no exceptions or there are situations (like this one or mace in season 4) were it’s based on what’s happening and whose in charge

Yeah literally every single member of the team constantly disobeys orders lol. I can't think of a single character on this show that doesn't disobey a direct order at least once. Daisy in particular really seems to consider them suggestions rather than orders lol.

Eh. There is no scientific proof that the future can't be changed. All they have seen is that they screwed up once and Jemma got real lucky with one expirement. That's not good science.

Zach there’s a whole episode and an event in season 3 finale that says otherwise. Did you forget 3x15 and 3x22 That’s not scientific but if you include Fitz’s theory and everything else that’s way more examples of time being fixed. So they have more then enough reasons to believe it while they have no reasons to not believe it except a vision from robin saying it’s possible to save the world

ASR: "That's literally me...I don't have an inside voice." And like every hero you eventually embraced your power to save the world...or at least create great reactions!

Wyatt

I love how despite him appearing in every season, she continues to refer to Talbot at “Mustache Man”. Lol continuity win

Zach is right here. For scientists, that was an extremely lazy experiment to display proof. Survive after 100 attempts and there would be a good argument. In regards to the 3x15 scenerio, this shows' rules on time up to this point have been similar to the show Doctor Who, where knowing the future cements its certainty. There's some Bootstrap paradox involved here as well since every action taken in 3x15 and 3x22 is because of knowledge of the future. The difference now is that, unlike Robins Father, she sees multiple future paths, meaning nothing would actually be definite, which would mean new rules on time. I give the writing the benefit of doubt, but it's a fairly easy concept that Fitz and Simmons should know. And i have to say i've always noticed that people tend to leave out Mack and May when complaining about Daisy especially when May and Daisy's actions are the same. A literal mother-daughter relationship trying to save lover/father.

What is more likely to be correct. One example of A old dying woman saying they saved the world (no actual proof) or all the events that have happened to the team (Literally being one the future) plus a scientific theory that says time is fixed. You have stop looking from an audience member and more at what they have experienced. It would be more logical to believe time is fixed.

Sorry but someone believing scientific theory saying time is fixed isn't proof that it is. All of the events that have happened to the team includes plenty of examples of them seeing Robin's premonitions coming true and never having one be shown to be wrong. As an audience member, i see that the characters experienced this (Fitz was first to do so). It would be more logical to believe a precog who's never been proven wrong.

I’m not going to argue with you because if think the statement robin said is proof enough to dispel all the other evidence then you obviously can’t get out of the audience mindset and look at things from other people’s point of view.

OK, but your audience mindset comment doesn't hold water. That's pretty much saying if someone doesn't see something the right way like you do, then they're not seeing it properly. I don't watch things to be a viewer. I don't watch for, favor, nor root for characters over others or actors over others. I despise character ships. Story and good development is the only thing that matters. Maybe you should try to look at things from that point of view. Really not trying to be rude but your condescension warrants it .

I’m not talking about my point of view I’m talking about the characters. I can disagree with what a character does but still understand the logic of why they did it. They are scientists. They deal in facts. I understand every character’s point of view and I’m not saying anyone’s actions were the best choice but it has nothing to do with “ships” like you think. If you think I’m here just for that then you are completely wrong.
