The was the episode that gave more perspective on Lena and her project. While I still don’t agree with it and see it as mind control (not completely, but to a certain extent) this episode showed me that she’s not acting “villainously”. Lena seemed like she really wanted to help the prisoners, and she felt terrible when she made things worse for the one nice guy. This tells me that in her own head she thinks that her whole “do no harm” idea is something incredible and helpful she’s doing for the world. I don’t think it is, but I think she’s blinded by emotion at the moment and she’s just determined to do this. It also probably doesn’t help that Lex has been gaslighting her since crisis, and honestly before that too, his dying words were literally gaslighting. Anyway, I’m still very mad at her for what she did to Kara in episode 7 with the ice cage thing and the kryptonite (especially since Kara is very claustrophobic) but I think I sympathize with her bit more knowing that she doesn’t have blatantly malicious intentions. I’m hoping she’ll realize Lex is manipulating her soon and get the hell away from him. Also… why aren’t there any comments? C’mon guys!
