I have seen How I Met Your Mother. Possible spoilers in this for that show. Let me know whether to continue reacting to this or not. Enjoy!

I didn't know there was a sequal to HIMYM. I loved that show. What a nice surprise

I didn't think it was a good as I had hoped, but I love Hillary Duff, so I will probably keep watching.

Andrew Polinski

My Thoughts It was Ok, the comedy was much on the generic side, the characters you could chuck into any comedy. What made HIMYM great was the uniqueness of the characters and story. They said at the end of the episode when they revealed the old HIMYM apartment that he bought it for a steel from an "old married couple" but Marshall and Lily would have been only 44ish when this was set because this was supposed to be 2022. First episode of this they went for the whole wrong phone trope even though he first plugs it straight onto the cable then takes it off and gives it to her but still somehow switches phones, did he have like another cable there with his friends phone on it too. If they don't ditch the British guy before the end of the first season then it's going to be a rough time. As for the actors/characters, Hilary Duff I always find comes off as very likable and was very solid throughout this episode. Piz (yes I am calling him that because that is all i know him as) was fine would probably have to see more to judge his character. British dude (yes can't be bothered looking for his name) the most annoying of everyone if he makes it past the first season then I will be surprised Roommate/best friend again was fine another generic character (yes seems to be the theme) Last but not least Kim Cattrall I've never liked Kim all the way back to Police Academy so a bit of a personal bias but again was fine nothing to write home about. Overall thoughts Just another ok generic comedy trying to ride on the coattails of HIMYM.

Think a lot of us have a bias towards Hilary since we grew up with her. The show is bad I wish they 've just rebooted Lizzie McGuire not this show.

Joseph Jimenez

I mean this was fine it's not my favorite but I will keep watching to see how the first season end hopefully it gets better

Jordan St. James

Anyone wanna place bets on who out of the main cast she actually ends up with? They're obviously setting it up that the proposal-fail guy is gonna end up being the long-term love interest. But who's to say his best friend doesn't end up having his engagement broken and hooks up with her, or something even crazier?

Your reactions to it are probably the only way i would watch it but i would prefer week to week so we can collectively poke a little fun at it with the comments.

Stefan suchy

So I wouldn't be interested in How I Met Your Father. I can't even watch How I Met Your Mother anymore.

Tsukiakari1203

i would be interested in it, i'd like to see it week to week
