Zoot!

I can't believe this show is over. I remember binging 5-6 episodes when it was a pilot pick, and then just never kept going. I'll have to watch all of OUAT eventually. Looks like you really enjoyed it, so yay!

Oh no... oh no no no, there are some major time discrepancies bothering me. Zelena has crossed herself TWICE! I knew this would happen, i had a gut feeling they would screw Zelena up. So let me get this straight: Robin & Alice went to storybrooke in the past so it doesn't cross over into the future... If they went to future aka the actual present day storybrooke Regina, Henry, Rumple, Belle, Zelena & Robin would NOT be there, only the ones remaining or the ones not affected by the events of Season 7 so they arrive in the specific timeline that corresponds to the Hyperion Heights timeline meaning that when Robin & Alice arrive Henry has gone a graduation trip with Emma & Regina... Emma is no longer pregnant & is just merely married to hook... Okay so lets back track to 7x01... Regina walks out Henry to find he's story and he travels through a portal on Augusts moterbike so Henry would've already graduated indicated he already got a call from Hyperion Heights Henry yet THEY WEREN'T CAST YET. HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY LOGICAL SENSE. Hyperion Heights Henry simply didn't exist primairly because even Regina was still in storybrooke & Henry didn't even meet Cinderlla 2.0 at the point, Lucy didn't exist yet so beyond me how that Henry could receive a call from he's Hyperion Heights self when the curse wasn't even cast yet! That would also indicate when Regina, Emma & Henry arrive home Zelena would've left, Robin is just abandoned in the past as her 5 year old self, Snow & Charming would've left aswell to assist their grandson in saving Hyperion Heights Regina. However there is a massive problem and time loop fail because Regina & Henry don't remember these events occurring in 7x01. When we fast track.... Regina decides to stay with grown up Henry & more time has passed & they connect with Zelena who tries to help defeat Drizella & Gothel before the curse is struck... There is a jurrastic age difference between when Robin first arrived in Enchanted Forest 2.0 compared to when he see her in 7x10 being 25 year she was only eighteen when she first arrived... I say this because ROBIN DOESN'T REMEMBER SEEING A DOUBLE GANGER VERSION OF HERSELF BEING 25 YEARS OLD WITH ALICE WHEN SHE WAS ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD SITTING IN THE DAMN CAR... SHE HAS NO MEMORIES OF THAT HAPPENING. So technically when Robin first meets Alice she should've recognized her Alice's face before the events that occurred in 7x22 when they whisk Zelena away to help assist in saving their family BUT SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER HER. Within this finale in all it's events Zelena is in San Fransico getting married to Chad... Robin carried forward because she travelled with Alice to meet up with Henry, Rumple & Regina all the people who're orginally from storybrooke. Zelena should technically have memories of her seeing her 25 year old daughter when she was dropping off her 5 year old daughter to Ashleys daycare but she doesn't because NONE OF THE EVENTS HAPPENED YET BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE MEMORIES OF IT. Zelena would have memories on how to defeat the dark one and technically would know the whole entire future of her life because Rumple travelling around with Belle & Emma/Regina were not present in Storybrooke so only Zelena new about the Hyperion Heights events. If i come to a full conclusion and understanding everything in both timelines seems to have all happened regardless of what changes occured however Zelena is not accounted for at all.... Regina & Henry made a whole massive loop together because they went back to the wish realm to save Henrys wife and daughter and made a full circle together aswell as Robin arguably so she's under the same timeline as Henry, Regina & everyone else. This major plot hole i'm discussing is related to Zelena... At the ending where everyone is celebrating Reginas coorination Zelena is present but WHO THE FUCK IS THAT ZELENA?! Hyperion Heights Zelena is not even in the same timeline anymore which is technically our Zelena from Season 3b. In order for her to be in present day with everyone else at that coorination ending within that specific timeline she would have to.... OH WAIT, she can't do anything she is literally trapped in San Franciso with Chad whilst her daughter and her whole entire family has whisked away to ANOTHER present day timeline to where all the realms have been united. If Hyperion Heights Zelena travelled to Storybrooke she would arrive and meet her DOUBLE GANGER & see her daughter only being 5 years old because the timeline she's living in is still back tracked all the way in the past to THAT SPECIFIC TIMELINE which we know is within the past to where Henry is just graduating. ZELENA IS NOT ACCOUNTED FOR AND IT MAKES ME SAD SHE WAS DONE DIRTY LUL. Regina & Henry left storybrooke, they both were cursed but they both travelled back to the wish realm together and Robin & Rumple tagged along resulting in all four of them remaining in the timeline together which lead onwards to another curse happening that brings everyone together. Zelenas timeline is making no sense. They just dumped Zelena there without any of her family members... NOT EVEN HER DAUGHTER... Just chad? LMAO Regina gave Robin permission to access her vault and Regina also gave Robin Coras spellbook BEFORE Regina went on a quest to save Henry from Lady Tremaine... Robin is a teenager here.... Henry graduated high school when Robin was only 5 years old.... SO WHY IS ROBIN A TEENAGER INSTEAD OF BEING 5 YEARS OLD? Regina would've given Robin the spellbook when she was 5 years not 18 years old in that case, however the writers and produces want us to believe Regina and Henry were in enchanted forest 2.0 for TWELEVE YEARS until Zelena opened up a portal to save Robin from being kidnapped by mother gothel taking herself to Enchanted forest 2.0 a whole damn friggen world almost... Also how does Coras book have an ancient spell to summon Gothel when Gothel exists in another world seperate to Cora so in all actual honesty there wouldn't be a way for Zelena to access a portal to that world because it's another WORLD... Regina was summoned there by a spell and remained there so that makes sense but Zelenas arrvial makes none and so doesn't Robins considering she shouldn't even have had any communication with a Gothel spell since Gothel existed in another world. What's more crazier is the Emma we see at the coorination has her baby and still has memories of grown up Henry and all the events taken place in 7x03 so Emma is the actual future Emma but Zelena is past Zelena that has the ability to use magic but she shouldn't because ZELENA RECEIVED MAGIC IN THE OTHER WORLD OBTAINING IT FROM ROBIN WHO GIFTED IT TO HER. Zelena shouldn't have the ability to teleport considering she still sacrificed it so like WHAT THE FUCK... ROBIN WENT FROM 5, 17 TO 25 REAL QUICK LUL That would mean Regina's dark curse would have swept through San Francisco (to get Zelena) and Hyperion Heights (to get Tiana), as well as combining the realms 10 years before Zelena and Robin had left to the New Enchanted Forest.... Did the cursr just magically tie together all the different messy timelines and mash them in all together? I am gutted LUL.

Also baby neal should at least be eighteen, not 7 or however old he was standing next to he's father. Baby Neal is older than Robin being born in Season 3 so when Robin is introduced in 7x10 being eighteen in highschool than Baby Neal should also be eighteen attending high school but he is... NOT AND HE IS WAY YOUNGER THAN ROBIN EVEN THOUGH HE IS OLDER.... Baby Neal at the coorinaiton should have been at least eighteen years old considering time flip flopped and moved way differently in enchanted forest 2.0 resulting in Robin aging faster i guess.

Now that you're at the end of the series, I present the full family tree in all its fucked-up glory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcv-451rD7A That same channel has a good rundown of the time travel aspect from S7 that helped clear a few things up for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgDO-WaDUSc The show DEFINITELY could have made things simpler on themselves (and us) by either not including time travel at all or coming up with a more straightforward version of it, and don't even get me started on the logistics of uniting every realm, but that video's a good starting point.

I am glad to have been here for the ride. I have recently gotten into the MCU and want to see your reactions to those shows, so i’ll be sticking around for a bit. I hope to see reactions to the new show, Moon Knight when it’s released! ❤️ Can’t wait :)

Enjoyed watching your reactions to this series!! I think seasons 1,2 and 3 are really good and I enjoyed season 4 as well! However, the author story line in the second half of season 4 felt like it had some plot holes and I think that is the writing started to go downhill into season 5. I think a big part of that is because some of the writers wanted Emma to go dark and full on villain, but got cold feet in season 4 and season 5. Just watch the San Diego comic con trailer to see where I think the writers were going with it. Due to course correction I think the writers left a lot of plot holes, which continued into the remaining seasons. I enjoyed several episodes in those seasons, but as a whole they were definitely a bit disappointing and had much more potential.

I watched the show when it aired and I have watched your reactions as well. I don't think anyone will argue against the fact that the later seasons are the weakest. They actually had a decent sendoff at the end of season 6 but they pulled this last season out of a hat it seems and it was by far the worst of the series. They made missteps with continuity before but they just took it too a whole new level. The finale was nice in some parts but it was just unnecessary and tacked on. In any case, I enjoyed the show as a whole. The good parts outweighed the bad and the characters were mostly all done really well. Except maybe for a lot of the different versions of them in this season. Your reactions to the eps that I remembered being a struggle to get through made it not so bad the second time around. Especially when you are sharing in the vitriol, haha.
