I waited your reaction and didn't watch this season. I'm glad that I can watch it for the first time with the reactions!

Crymson Vega

Which original were you talking about? The song "Running Up That Hill" that you were listening to.... That Was The Original, Kate Bush from 1985. Everything else after including Placebo's version they were covers. Kate Bush did the original, keep in mind this was the 80's.

The original was actually first heard on Smallville.. Kate Bush was just ahead of her time cause she did a Marty McFly. nods knowingly

Then you're talking about Placebo's Cover, Kate Bush did the original. It was not an original by Placebo.

Tommy

Yes its only been a year but i believe next season will have a big time jump which will definitely make sense.

Tony
>>87005887

Nah I'm pretty sure she went forward in time and heard Placebo at a school dance while she was not trying to hook up with her future son to somehow preserve the timeline.

Crymson Vega
>>87005887

What are you doing? Let's be clear here. Things may happen in the order how you perceive them but the reality is Placebo did not do it first... why are you arguing with the facts?

Tony

Will the time jump be backwards?? Will Kate Bush's backstory be revealed?? But more importantly ...Will. There. Be. Cookies????

Zoot!

Are .... are you actually taking this thread seriously? :lemons:

Crymson Vega

Sorry if you're not getting any attention in the real world, and your lunacy is pitiful. Kate Bush did it first, and Placebo said "Fuck that I'll just make a copy" Deal With It.

Tony

In all seriousness, she knew she fucked up when she mentioned the song though no worries. And just in case you're wondering, Kate Bush didn't actually travel in time (I am not coerced at gunpoint to say that.. snd hlp)

Tommy
>>87007804

I’m confused. What’s the joke exactly? Sorry I sound dumb 😅

Tony
>>87007804

No worries it was just me being dumb combining comments from both these ST episodes into one

Brandon Wiesner

I'm not familiar with the song in question but it certainly gave the songwriter a big boost.

Luis Garcia

At my high school football games, they would sometimes have someone singing that wasn't always the best singer. The band director would take pleasure from noting every mistake the singer made.

@Vega No I liked the joke. I deleted my comment because I thought you got the joke and might be trolling as well at some point

Luis Garcia

About choosing between dnd and basketball, I think all three of them made the right decision. I don't think it's right to expect your friend to miss out on an important event for a group/club/hobby so they can go to your important event. Lucas valued basketball over dnd, so he went to the basketball game and that's fine. Mike and Dustin tried seeing if the game could be moved and it couldn't. I think it's nice for someone to go to an important event for one of their friends if they aren't busy, but if they are busy, one should respect that their friends also have their own interests and responsibilities. Besides this is something they should have talked about ages ago. It's not like they typically "surprise we have a championship tomorrow" or "surprise we have a dnd game tomorrow". I imagine the schedule for the basketball season is available at the start of the season, so Lucas should've known that it could conflict with the dnd campaign, which probably has a consistent schedule. This isn't something they should barely be discussing the day before the championship.

Well not if they go to the championship, because they can't predict that at the beginning of the season. If they didn't win their last game, there would have been no game to conflict with DnD.

Luis Garcia

That might be true, but you still know when the championship game will be. If your team seems to be doing good, you'll at least know that it's a possibility. I suppose they could've been surprised that they were doing so well. But as they got closer and closer to the championship, the possibility of them making it in should have been something he should have started considering.

Katherine Thoreson

They finally made the band sound good for once. Although a trumpet player would not be standing next to a clarinet player, but I'll take it since they don't sound terrible.
