I love looking at what if situations like just think of what the human race would be like after 5 years with 50 Sky Crew and 50 Ice Nation. Odds are they would've had some kids or something with each other, grounders would've learned about all the technology and how to shoot, Sky Crew would've learned how to fight. Kane and Bellamy would've become advise givers while Clarke and Roan would be the people in charge. Done correctly the ultimate human race would've emerged after the radiation lol.

*points at Ilian* You sir are an idiot! Also Octavia I wouldn’t say you tried to stop him. All you did was the equivalent of saying “Hey… don’t do that”

Nice that Octavia was grounder enough for Ilian to save. Twice. Your home, though? Nah. Burn it to the ground… I can’t help but feel like Illian knows Octavia from somewhere…. Was his farm near Lincoln’s village? I feel like I remember him from that hostage situation, where Octavia tried to intervene. Then again, grounder hairstyles and garb are very similar.

Lincoln was Trikru. Ilian was from Trishanakru. He was first introduced this season.

I honestly don't blame Ilian for wanting to destroy all technology. He lived a perfectly happy, normal life until technology was reintroduced to the ground. Once technology showed up he was forced to kill his entire family. We don't know how or why he initially took the chip, but it was probably because one of his clans leaders told him to. He also doesn't know the world is ending. That's something only Skaikru, Roan, Indra, and Octavia know about.

I love how Roan orders the archers to target Clarke and then it shows the green dots on his chest by everyone on ridge edges, it was basically like checkmate bitch! In the scene of them pulling the bag from Bellamy's head and then zooming into his face, you can see there are still tears in his eyes from crying, which just kills me. though it is soothed by him figuring out that Octavia's alive and the way his face lights up and becomes hopeful which is later confirmed by Monty makes me happy for him. Honestly, Bellamy is like if you had killed her and these chains would be around your neck to Echo, I wouldn't blame him and honestly, he would have done WAY worse to her if Octavia had died. I do get it where Riley was coming from what happened to him by being a slave to other Ice nation people but at the same time, that is not Roan's fault as even though he is King, he had no idea what these other people were doing so Roan shouldn't be killed for another person's actions. I also get why Bellamy was trying to get through to Riley because he had gone through the EXACT same thing and he didn't want that for Riley. Like Bellamy said "War made me a murderer." which is commendable of Bellamy to admit his mistakes and acknowledge that which makes me super proud of him. I also commend Octavia for trying to talk Illian down but his mind was already made up, especially because he basically used saving her to get her back to the Arkadia to get into the Arkadia and blow it up. Also, the scene with Clarke coming to negotiate with Roan and them meeting in the valley is that Eliza tells the story at a Con where behind the scenes, a staff member on location had to try to quietly usher Eliza towards them which made Eliza confused as to why and they proceed to tell her that there was a bear behind her, approaching her which caused her to turn around and be like "Really where?" excitedly because she was curious and then there was even one point during it where she had her hands up like she was being robbed.

Huh, I never noticed all that foreshadowy info in the first scene there before, this episode might be worth a rewatch in a season or so...
