Man, I live that Nick is now starting to write down his experiences in the book. The books that so far have often given the answers he needs and now he is the one writing the answers for future Grimms. He may not be your standard Grimm but he has fallen into the role quite nicely.

Yes, now that Juliette is a member of the Scoobie gang I like her using her skills to add to the team. The conflict between Monroe and Rosalee was interesting. I understand why Rosalee had to call the Wesen Council but I love that Monroe in the end still supported Nick. Monroe is the best kind of friend. This is the second time we’ve seen this council; I like how they are recognizing Nick is a different kind of Grimm. I also like how Nick was able to use his knowledge (courtesy of Monroe and Rosalee) of ancient agreements between the Royals, Grimms and the Council to his advantage. Didn’t get any more story on what’s going on with Nick’s mom. For some reason Renard is putting his life on the line by going to Europe, especially with a new Prince in town.

The idea of a disease that resembles a Wesen's Wogue is interesting, and in a world where Wesen occur naturally, kinda makes sense. It could even be a hint at their origin. Perhaps they started off as disease-infected humans whose DNA were permanently altered? It's a fertile bit of worldbuilding in any case.
