Yeah, I think the jury was wrong too. But just like you were saying there were things they were saying that were incorrect by today's standards, there was unfortunately a lot of looking the other way when it came to discrimination back then. If anything, this is a reminder of how far we've come in society. BTW, the actor playing the trans character was Anthony Anderson. I'm surprised you didn't recognize him, because he is a pretty big name now. He's also a really good guy. He and my cousin worked on a show together and I've gotten to meet/know him. It's been quite awhile since I've seen him but if/when I do, I'll definitely give him props for being on this show and let him know he got robbed in this case! LOL

1. You asked about the revival show... Last news was back in August of 2022.. It was supposedly in early development ...The new series would hypothetically follow a young black woman who according to fan rumour would be a daughter of Renée ...Cause... I'm guessing Renée would be the only option according to the Ally fanverse? ...Anyhoo ...It wouldn't be done by David E. Kelley.. The creator of Ally McBeatles ....He said he has no desire to go back to doing things he's already done and thinks IF a new "Ally" show is made that it should be made by a woman ......Considering the kind of stuff he came up with which we've seen so far... Yeah... Probably for the best .....After this news came out the trail went cold 2. Poor fRoots ...Having hair issues already? Have you tried going bald? That might solve your problems 3. Anthony Anderson! I was wondering when he was gonna show up ...I saw a picture of him on one of the Ally episodes on Imdb I think ...Totally forgot it was this one ...What's weird though... The other day I was talking to you about Free Willy... Well... Not really the movie... But a line from Kangaroo Jack saying "Why don't you find Free Willy!?... Let Willy set you free!" ...Anthony Anderson played the character who said that line! 4. Ok... I have absolutely ZERO. issue with Anthony's character having wanted to be a woman since she was 12... Why the beard though?? It strikes me as odd ....Did Anthony not want to shave off his beard for the role? 5. Dude.... If Ally wants to get a shot at being a back up dancer for Tina Turner... Who are you to say she's being silly!? Let her have dreams... It's not up to you to decide that shit ...added later... And now he made a complete 180?? ...I'm shooketh 6. Yeeeeaaahh... 75000 a person for this case??? Nah bish... Getting fired over being "different"??? (even though using that word to describe this in itself feels more like an insult but the proper English escapes me) ...They could sue the company for millions and EASILY win 7. True... Not sure if Ally deserves any props there.. I mean... All the other potentials kind of outshined her with their auditions ...But this is Ally McBarbecue ...I wouldn't be surprised if Ally wins this shit ...added right after... YUP... Aaaaand now Ellaine feels bad ...Honestly... Even though Ellaine was pretty much only shaking her booty and was on par with being as mediocre as Ally ...I feel she deserved it more IF it had to be a choice between Ally and Ellaine ...Disregarding the fact this was supposedly Ally's dream since she was a kid cause Ally looked like she didn't even want to be there during the contest 8. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! I was wondering what their reasoning was for firing the woman ....She got fired for being obese!?!? ...Yeah Froots... My eyes went as wide as yours by hearing that shit ...And the other guy got fired cause they think his face scared away children??? Sooooo... Cause he's ugly?? Or scary looking??? ...If Cage & Fish don't win this case then they should just close up shop 9. Yeah this show is clearly a product of a different time ...It shows again very clearly in this episode... A person with tourette.. A person with obesity... A person who has gender dysphoria ....They're all classified as "weirdos" by not only the minor characters but also the mains ...I remember when you first decided to take this on as an editor pick and I looked into things ...I read that there'd be a LOT. of issues with it in today's world ...I'm not AT. ALL. surprised by your reaction to it and I very much share it ....Coming back to Note 1. I hope that a potential revival does better with tackling subjects like these 10. Proof that Ling has a heart... That was pretty sweet of her to ask that woman to tell Ellaine she was a good dancer and deserved the spot more than Ally ...She was also right 11. Ewwww gross... Ally is hallucinating a bar full of Billy's .....HOW in the hell is she so in denial over this guy??? Dude is OBVIOUSLY NOT worth her time 12. You know what would be funny? If we had Ally put on some oversized gloves and have her punch stuff... I bet people would love that shit ............Me ...Sitting here stoically ...They tried ...Please go back to Nelle's shoes 13. Wooooooooooowwwwwww.... Yeah here's Nelle trynna do something nice by comforting Ally and then she gets hit in the face with an oversized glove??! ....Nelle should sue ...Or at the very least report Ally and have her fired or demoted ...Something! ......Ok Billy deserves worse ..I don't care ....But Nelle!? Not cool! 14. Aight.... Time to close the doors ....This should've been the easiest case to win ....Well... This should have been the easiest case to win NOW. ....Back then people were unevolved backwards thinking no good for nothing worthless pieces of shit ...Luckily we're not all like that any more and some of us can look past the exterior of a person nowadays 15. Ok I don't feel like this is coming off as they're intending it to.... They're having John and his clients go out dancing to the music in their head ...The music we hear is similar to circus music ....It's cringey and insulting rather than funny 16. You're not alone Froots... As my notes point out... This episode was just all kindsa fucked
