Update from Patreon (Patreon)

Patreon finally emailed back this morning. In terms of the issues surrounding my home page, there is a public post I made a while ago that has visible nipples. I thought for sure it was going to be some random caption or something. Turns out it was a post with pictures of my 3D printed woman with giant breasts. Weird and annoying, but whatever, that's an easy problem to fix.

The larger problem is with my captions. In their own words, "some of them are stimulating their breasts in a way that would be sexually gratifying." THE HORROR. Given this, as well as their definition of pornography in the first email, this eliminates 99% of my caption material. Nudity is apparently fine, they just can't be doing ANYTHING. This doesn't make for an exciting caption. You could split hairs and say a tiny bra sinking into a giant pair of breasts is still only nudity, but Patreon is free to define stimulation as whatever they want. 

That all being said, I'm sorry to say I'm going to have to stop the captions. I know this will disappoint a lot of you; I love them as much as the next person but they're not worth risking the entirety of my Patreon. This will include removing them from the Shirt Stretcher and Button Buster rewards. Please make sure you download any existing captions you wish to save. I'll likely post a link to the entire collection tonight to make it easier. ***They will all be removed on November 1st***.

For those of you in the Shirt Stretcher tier who wish to stick around, please move your support to the Absolute Melon tier. I will be removing all the slots in the Shirt Stretchers before November so I can rework the tier.

I am working on a replacement for the content. It will likely be similar to the captions, only lacking the picture and probably extended to a full page. There may also be another tier in the works for 2021... So there is still plenty to come. (Can anyone say pin ups??)

Lastly, thank you for all the support. I'm not sure why the captions have suddenly become a problem after 3 years. If I've come under Patreon's radar once, it could happen again. This is why I'm not taking any chances. I have no plans to change platforms at this time, either due to lack of features or lack of payment options. I am however considering setting up an OnlyFans for captions! This was suggested by multiple patrons and I'm still looking into it. What I come up with as a replacement will also play a role, as I can only stretch myself so thin. Maintaining another platform is another challenge in and of itself.

I completely understand if this makes anyone reconsider their support, especially if you're a member of the caption tier. Please understand that my hands are essentially tied. In the meantime until I figure out a replacement, I will be posting the plaintext of some captions that never had a chance to be posted. It will take a little time to flesh out a content replacement and generate it as well.

If you're on the fence about sticking around, consider moving to the art tier. Our artists have a lot of incredible stuff coming down the pipes and they work very hard. In the future we could possibly move towards using our own content as caption material as well, considering art doesn't fall under Patreon's conception of pornography.
