Obviously this is a very speculative video since I don't know how much Asrock spends on what components however I still wanted to point what I find to be some very odd design decisions on a motherboards that should be focusing on bang for the buck instead of bling.

Really appreciate the content. However, it leaves me with more questions than answers. My next purchase should be a x499 / Threadripper 2950. I'm happy to be influenced, if that comes with the insight of true technical evaluation rather than if the RGB is pretty. So, you leave me hungry for a product that doesn't appear to exist in the current market of x399. What process should I choose to follow when purchasing my next rig?

They have gotten all MSI on US, when they were smaller they would focus on solid components, but since growing, not only they motherboards, but products in general are focused on Aesthetics..

As a noob when it comes to MB design and OCing this kind of content is why I’m a contributor. Thank you and keep it up.

Just had a question for you in regards to an older Z370 board. I have the asRock Z370 extreme4 with an 8700K. Being that it has a 12 phase VRM, can I drop a 9900K in it and get away with running it at 5Ghz all cores? I updated the BIOS to 4.0, so it is compatible with the processor now. Just wondering if I can get away with keeping this Z370 motherboard. And as a side note, I have a case with TONS of airflow to the VRM and mobo, 7 x Noctua 140mm 3000rpm fans total, and a 280mm aio for the processor.
