If it weren’t for R. Lee Ermey? Don’t think I would have ever given this movie a 2nd viewing.

I guess I coulda not done two depressing war movie edits in a row? But they poll winners and had to get em up! Sunshine AND SMILES coming soon LOLOL

Robert Nardelli

R Lee Ermy, who made this film as the Senior Drill instructor was not originally cast in the part. He was hired as a technical advisor and through reading in various scenes that he made sure that Kubric witnessed, he won the role. The psycopath door gunner on the way out to Huey City who was shooting civilian farmers was the guy originally cast in that part. What a huge difference that would have made.

Incredible movie. Great reaction. These reaction videos really make these old movies fun to watch again. :D

You calling this an old movie, which it is, makes me feel old, which I am 😂

So.... I recently found one of my all-time favorite movies. It's LITERALLY the cheesiest creature feature b movie, but I love it so much. We should do a poll for the best b movie creature feature. Not crazy gore and insane violence, just a solid creature feature that always brings you joy and happiness🥰 Maybe not the obvious ones though. Like Christmas ones *cough* gremlins *choke* 🫠 Although I got some great suggestions for the holidays
