Alllrighty! The Coen Brothers won the poll! I have seen The Big Lebowski, True Grit (2010) (both on Patreon) I think I saw Fargo as a teen at a party so I think I know the twist ending? and would like to see something else from them! Poll to follow shortly!

O Brother Where Art Thou?

VivendoBem

It'll never sniff wining a poll, but "A Serious Man". Edit: 2 more personal faves with no chance of beating NCFOM: "Inside Llewyn Davis" "Miller's Crossing"

Michael T

My top three are: 1. Raising Arizona 2. Raising Arizona 3. Raising Arizona Oh, and Miller's Crossing is pretty good too. And also Fargo. And the Hudsucker Proxy. But those top three are the best.

No Country Raising AZ Revisit Fargo sometime to really take in Frances McDormand CRUSHING her performance.

Raising Arizona is my all time favorite movie from any era or genre—I've thought about it almost every day for 37 years—but if you haven't seen No Country I'd recommend starting there.

-Blood Simple (1984) -O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) -The Ladykillers (2004) -No Country for Old Men (2007) -Burn After Reading (2008) -Hail, Caesar! (2016) -The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) These are basically their best movies that you haven't mentioned already having seen.

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN!!!

No country for old men? I didn't realize that was a Coen movie, cast looks great though.

- A Serious Man - Barton Fink - Blood Simple Hard to restrict myself to three, and I'm shocked, SHOCKED, to find out that I'm the first to mention Barton Fink!

Blood Simple Millers Crossing Raising Arizona Ballad of Buster Scruggs ….at least 30 Fargo reactions (I stopped counting) on YT, dozens of No Country for old Men. I think I chose these not because their any better (or worse) but because they aren’t as played out and they deserve to keep getting seen. Ballad of Buster Scruggs on the other hand lol…..it’s a crazy film and Ames gets to check off another Western.

Fargo (The Coen Brothers very best IMO) Inside Llewyn Davis Raising Arizona

I never bought into the Big Lebowski... Still haven't.. My suggestion? Cant go wrong with Blood Simple, No Country and Raising Arizona for no other reason than Nic Cage's PHENOMONAL performance as Hi (he still had hair then). In fact?? that entire cast hit it out of the park.

-A Serious Man -O Brother, Where Art Thou? -Raising Arizona -The Ballad of Buster Scruggs -No Country for Old Men

I think it's odd that Miller's Crossing is so underrepresented among Coen reactions generally. Such a beautiful piece of writing. I'd love to see more attention paid to that and Barton Fink.

No Country for Olde Men should be at the top of the list
