Note: These kill me and take forever to do. I am sorry if you pick isn't on here. At 25 I have to get cut throat LOL but this list is FIRE...I'll be doing AFI Friday's so I left some out of the poll that will be coming up in the next couple weeks! So really, everyone wins LMAO

***approval style voting - meaning vote for all your top picks! Your first might not win but your other picks could!

There we go. Ripping good selection, bud.

Shawn Goforth

Holy crap! That's all I've got: Holy crap.

Paul Cox

Thanks for tacking Black Narcissus on there at the end. It absolutely won't win, but damn what a secret banger.

Henry Graham

My heart is with Black Narcissus, which I believe is one of the greatest feats of artistry in the history of cinema. It's almost inconceivable that a film this vivid, intense and erotic emerged from the rubble and deprivation of postwar Britain, but then nearly everything Powell and Pressburger did was almost inconceivable.

Calum Grace

Praying for Black Narcissus, saw it for the first time last year and it kind of overwhelmed me, sent me on a big journey through more of Powell and Pressburger's gorgeous films

Brian's Dog

There is more things that I haven't seen than have so I voted for all the unseens to try to expand my horizons. Watching those with someone will be easier to prompt me do it.

Ken Schneyer

Omigosh, what a wonderful list of films! I usually only vote for one (1), but this time I voted for *twelve*. Whatever you choose, it's going to be good.

Baron Imhoof

At some point I hope to see you react to Inherit the Wind. It's a true story, based on the stage play of the same name, and one of the characters is my dream role.

Catchermag

Is there a bad film on here? Nope. Will I watch Mary Poppins? Nope lol…..but I’m sure you’d love it. It’s a fine film.

Catchermag

The Hitch gang is back at it again.

James Rogers

Seeing M on the list made my day. Don't care if it or any of my other picks win the poll. ✌️

Gary Trousdale

That’s a fine looking list. I voted for top 3. Fingers crossed.

Clay F

Good job Ames. I voted for 9. My top two are In the Heat of the Night and Roman Holiday, but will be happy with others winning. I have not seen North by Northwest but is on my watchlist.

John Courtright

Ames, you did a great job of narrowing down a mind-bogglingly long list to 25 choices! (No stress, right?? 😅) Many good options here (although my Audrey Hepburn picks are not looking very likely at the moment). Since most of my selections and nominations are on the AFI List, I know you'll watch those eventually. 😊 Looking forward to seeing which two films on the poll are going to tie! (Oh no!!) 😂

ALLEN SCHROETER

Network 1976 Movie. A one of a kind dark comedy.

Retro Maven

OMG, no one has done the original Wolf Man!! It's still 2 months to Halloween!!

Randolph Tirazona

@Ames Here's one on a lighter note for the future: "Eddie and the Cruisers" (1983)

Catchermag

I threw a vote in for Black Narcissus because of the passion for the film that a few of you seem to have. I’ve never seen it, and at first I thought you were all referring to Black Orpheus, which is a great film.

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

Looks like a tie at the end of voting. Network and North by Northwest.

AJ

That got spicy...but Hitch remains king.
