I played hooky last night because I went out to the Hockey game! SO my east coasters and Euro buds sorry for the late upload! I am enjoying my time off already! LOL!

Light Spoilers Below👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

The cutest Santa I have ever seen!!! What a jolly dude!

I don't know where I stand with this movie but I enjoyed many of the messages! I kinda hummed and HAWED at the end of my outro, but I think I was left with a wonderful message of hope in the end (and now writing this) and so I think I liked it overall. I just think my brain is fried from the G&T's and screaming at the hockey game last night. I think there was some amazing acting in this film! EDMUND GLENN and NATALIE WOOD plus the rest of the supporting cast. Things warmed up for me in the end!!! The most wonderful Santa I have ever seen.

I hope you enjoy Lemmy and I's Marx Bro's like dance....he came to visit during the reaction, and was a menace to society as usual. Sorry for the distraction.

Happy Holidays everyone!

xoxo

Natalie Wood has said in interviews that during the filming she really believed Edmund Glenn WAS Santa Claus and was horrified when she saw him in his street clothes at the wrap party and without the beard!

I belong to the Euro buds category 😄 🇪🇺 Merry Xmas Ames!

They can't all deliver! For me, it's all about Natalie Wood's fantastic performance as a child actor. Even though she was always a good actress who had a long career in lots of great movies until her tragic death, this is still my favorite performance from her! (or at least tied for first!). Amber from School Of Rock is her only competition! You could have played either parts! 😂

China Andronicus

Edmund Gwenn actually won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for this performance.

I took my daughter to see this in the theater when she was five years old. The local theater plays old movies. She sat there in awe, eyes aglow. That’s what this movie is. A kids movie designed to head off the perils of being an adult. I find great value in that alone.

Teemu Laitinen

If this movie didn't get you, you have have really earned your title as The Christmas Grinch Ames. Ebenezer would be so proud, bah humbug. There are never any ghosts around when you need them for an intervention. I guess you wouldn't have gotten Ralphie his Red Ryder Carbine-action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle either? Happy Holidays one and all!

This is one of the few movies that can shut off my lizard-brained cynicism and get me in the Christmas spirit. By today's standards, some cringy moments but I couldn't care less. It's just a fun watch. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.

First watch. I liked it. I like the scene early in the movie when Kris Kringle spoke with the Dutch orphan in Dutch (that's the kind of special moment that a kid actually experiencing would remember). I, like you, have not watch that many Christmas movies. I thought this sweet and heartwarming. Also, a true Christmas movie, which I guess a good reason for it to win the poll. I forgot that Natalie Wood (who played Susan) was a child actor. As you may know, she was in several big movies before her mysterious death in 1981. I agree the casting for that fake psychiatrist was good -- he played his part well. I don't know the "To Market" song. Lastly, I recognized right away William Frawley (who played the political adviser to the judge) from "I Love Lucy" and "My Three Sons" -- two TV series I watched a lot as a kid.

My favorite Christmas movie of all (excepting of course It's A Wonderful Life, which I consider more than just a Christmas movie). I haven't watched the reaction yet, but I might just save it for Christmas day! Thanks for doing this one, Ames!

Chill

You absolutely made the right choice going to the game, yelling, and spending time with friends & family. The reaction was worth the wait.
