I know you just got through watching the original Star Trek series material with Star Trek VI on New Year's Eve, but just out of curiosity, when do you plan to start reacting to the 24th century, that is, Star Trek: The Next Generation? 😊🖖

Jason Vulgamore

I can't wait for your reaction to Raising Arizona. One of Nicolas Cages best movies.

Henry Graham

Ooh! Modern Times has some of Chaplin's most inspired comic sequences. It's remarkable that this was almost a decade into the sound era and he was still sticking with the silent comedy principles that made him a star, although the difficulty of surviving in the rapidly modernising world is very much the theme of the film! I can't wait to watch that one with you and see a true genius at work.

David Harvey

Fantastic lineup Ames! "Raising Arizona" is one of the early Corn Brothers films. A great funny ride! "Modern Times" is the Iconic Chaolin film at the height of his creative powers. And "Rocky II" is one of the best sequels ever!

VivendoBem

Another outstanding slate of movies! No spoilers, but 1 of my much older brothers is, allegedly, an extra in one of them--though we've never been able to find him on screen. Gives me another chance to give a look see! Can't wait!

AJ

HELL YES LFG!!!

Nik

Ooooh, Rocky 2 is too cool for school! I heard rumors you're doing Black Dynamite soon. 🤔 Everyone is talking about it. By everyone, I um, mean me. I'm talking about it. There's a lot of buzz. 😁

Wade Wallenstein

Raising Arizona is the best! Happy to see more Rocky as well 😊

Clay F

Rocky II will be a first watch for me.

Paul Cox

I don't think I could make any technical or academic argument for why Raising Arizona is my favorite movie, but there hasn't been a single day since 1987 that I haven't thought of a line of dialogue or pictured a scene from it in my mind's eye. It's truly a part of my life.

RFK Fan

Glad to see the genius of Charlie Chaplin spotlighted here. Charlie was light years ahead of his time as an important filmmaker not just a comedian. I remember seeing RAISING ARIZONA opening night with friends and was one of the few times my face hurt from laughing by the end of it (Porky's, Used Cars and Something about Mary being the others) The Coen brother's camera work was next level when that film came out. Rocky 2 one of the few sequels that lived up to the original. You wont be disappointed.. An exciting week for Ames means an exciting week for us all!
