Good to see the AFI Friday getting into gear again. Not that last Friday was any letdown! Far from it. But Double Indemnity is a great classic that I can't wait for! Getting some Eddy G on the channel, the OG gangster!

Henry Graham

Double Indemnity! One of THE essential film noirs. The dialogue absolutely crackles in that film, and I love the three leads. Is this your first Barbara Stanwyck film? She's one of the best to ever do it. I can't wait for this reaction x

Great week! I still haven't seen Train To Busan, super psyched to see that one! (Plus.....I still have to catch up on Before Sunset!). Got film noir, got a Robocop! I foresee in my crystal ball: lots of views!!!! :D

Hold Down A

I’ve seen these all so please no worries for spoils

I’d offer a suggestion for a double feature of Strangers on a Train and Train to Busan and you could call it Strangers on a Train to Busan. Also, Body Double and Double Indemnity for Body Double Indemnity. Oh the possibilities…..

Glad Train To Busan and Parasite get the love they deserve, but It blows my mind that most of the big channels haven't done the godfather of the new Korean cinema itself, Oldboy. I mean it's definitely not obscure, it's always been in like the top 75 of the IMDB 250. And it's not inaccessible to mainstream viewers, either. Even Deadpool And Wolverine couldn't help imitating it. But there's still nothing quite like it.
