Hey Everyone!!! Hope you are having a great start to your week!!! I had a hectic week last week, but it was great!🤪 I am excited (as usual) for this week! I'm not sure what my YouTube edit will be for this week yet... LOL I'm always flying by the seat of my pants, juggling everything!

TNG Tuesday - S2 Episode 9 "The Measure of a Man"

AFI Friday/ Poll Winner - #36 The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) Will take the AFI spot this week! Stoked to see another Alec Guinness film!

Saturday - My Pick! The Colo(u)r of Money (1986), I had NO IDEA there was a Sequel to The Hustler (1961), which won the spin last week! So, I couldn't help myself once I found out and am excited to watch some more Tom Cruise (and PAUL) I haven't seen!

LIVE is postponed -A LIVE is due this week, so please be sure to keep an eye out for a poll for times that could work for you. I hope your summer is summering! We have clouds today, and it's such a bummer!!!

Thanks for hanging out and watching movies with me every week! It means the world to me!!!

Yes! The color of money is so good.

The Bridge on the River Kwai what can one say but David Lean. Fantatic film with great performances. Just saw Gettysburg (1993) and Waterloo (1970) today for the first time so needless to say life is good.

I feel like I'm in a horrible hitting slump with the content releases the last month or so...🤣 Oh well, here's to next week 🥃

I was an extra on THE COLOR OF MONEY but looking forward to KWAI even more!! You already know what an incredible filmmaker David Lean is since you've seen Dr. ZHIVAGO. Kwai is such an epic film and Alec Guinness rocks as Col. Nicolson. Know you'll love it. ❤️

One of my favorite TNG episodes this week!!

christopher b swanson

cant wait..............the color of money is 1 of the best most underrated movies of the 80s, a brilliantly acted and paced character study, newman at his finest.........cruise in another role where he isn't given enough credit for acting

Monte Durbin

You really should watch "The Hustler" before watching "The Color of Money." You'll have a much better appreciation if you watch "The Hustler" first.

Clayton Johnson

I was looking to see if you reacted to the Breakfast Club, so I could say that now you know where the Whistling of the Colonel Bogey March. So if you seen it now you know and if not, you will know when you get to the Breakfast Club.

TBOTRK,you will get a look at a tall drink of water,Young William Holden🔥 and a younger Obi Wan Kanobi!! I really like Paul Newman those eyes are blue as sapphire!! Have you watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and/or The Sting??

Legendary week! The TNG episode is great, too

Not much of a Tom Cruise fan, so I won't be watching it when it shows up on YouTube. The other two, though, I might have a look.

Henry Graham

The Colour of Money is so good! It could easily have been a by-the-numbers sequel, but Scorsese really makes it sing. Such a great study of movie stardom too. A veteran star who knows sll the tricks and has nothing left to prove alongside an ambitious and confident young star looking to make his mark, and the way these two actors use their contrasting styles and energies to enhance their characters' relationship is so rewarding. A cracking movie.

What a great week, Ames! I can't wait for Bridge on the River Kwai and "The Measure of a Man" is a foundational TNG episode! So good!!

Measure of a Man Oh shit.

Yay! The saga of Fast Eddie continues!
