The beautiful, comely Julie Warner plays Geordi’s love interest Christy. Some of us oldies also know her for her role in the cute fish out of water Michael J Fox movie Doc Hollywood……where she famously is transported in a Ferrengi transporter beam as she comes out of the water 🤣🤣🤣

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

I suspect that if you polled the fanbase (or maybe this is just me) that this probably *isn't* one of folks favourites. Not bad in any way, just... forgettable. You're right, A, in that it brings up a lot of interesting, big picture, Star Treky questions. But with the kinda different format, taking place over a month or more on the ship, more day-in-the-life-esque, it ends up being a little draggy. That's not to say it's not without its positives. It's nice to see Bev doing more stuff in Sickbay, the bit with Geordi and Worf the romance guide is pretty cute, and I applaud them for trying something different format-wise even if I have mixed feelings about it. I just wish there had been a little more tension or excitement or something, I'm not sure. As I'm sure fellow Patron Summer would agree, I definitely enjoyed watching it more as a watch along reaction with you, getting to see it through the eyes of a first timer helps me to set aside any of my preconceived notions and just enjoy it for what it is. As I'm sure others have said, next week is a big one so I'm definitely excited for that. See you then, A 🖖

It's kinda like being fan of a music band. You not only like the hits, but most of their catalogue because you just like their sound. Not every episodes can be top tier, but even the baseline TNG episodes are enjoyable for fans, also because they're still just good quality. I haven't seen these last two episodes in a long while and yes, I was quite surprised about the imzadis kissing last week as well. Very strange choice by the writers.
