Star Trek: TNG S4xE5 "Remember Me"

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

I always enjoy Star Trek when it does the procedural problem solving thing, crew members bouncing questions off of the computer etc. Pair that with Bev's particular brand of sarcasm and sass (she always looks like there's a joke that only she is in on 😆) and I find this episode to just be a tonne of fun. And of course the perception flip halfway through the episode is very clever also. Great music too, very creepy vibes. I really like this one. See you in the next one, A🖖

Hey hey! One of my two favorite STNGs!

Clay F

Not a fav of mine. I like focus on Beverly and some of visuals. While Wesley's work gone wrong was cause, I liked that Wesley (with The Traveler) saved the day. Somewhat surprised (but not shocked) of good IMDb 7.8 rating, higher than S4E3 Brothers (7.7) and considerably higher than last episode S4E4 Suddenly Human (6.4). Commenters seemed to like plot line + apparent parallels with Twilight Zone.

I never understood the choices with Bev’s wig. Waves/curls in the front and straight in the back… That minor distraction aside, Gates is amazing as always and the story is fun. I love to fall asleep to this episode- and I mean that in the best way possible.

“What is the nature of the Universe?” -Good question, Bev!

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

"If there's nothing wrong with me...maybe there's something wrong with the universe" is a low-key top tier quote.

This has always been a top favorite episode of mine. I love that moment when the computer tells her the universe is 705 meters in diameter, the music and her reaction is a great "Ohh shiiiiiiit" moment for her character. The episode has many parallels to the pilot episode of the original Twilight Zone series called "Where Is Everybody"...its about a man finding himself alone in a small town and he begins to lose his sanity until the twist at the end. I definitely recommend you consider giving that series a try in the future, a lot of great episodes for that series.
