A common theme at the TCMCFF is heartbreak! LOL! There are so many GREAT movies playing at the same time, but you can't see them all. Also, what you see first plays into what you can see next. It's a whole thing! Because you need to be able to get in the queue lines, and the fear of missing the next showing is real. This also requires a lot of stamina. I was seeing 4-5 movies a day. Some of us film fanatics have this ability. It is almost, I believe, a superpower and pure passion that keep you going, and well, in my case, on very little food! (Don't worry, I went prepared with snacks.) I had so much fun, don't get me wrong, I followed my heart and watched a lot of movies that meant a great deal to me. A lot of what I saw I had watched here on my channel with all of you, and I got to see those on the big screen. Call me sentimental, but it meant a lot to me. I wouldn't be here without all of you. SO you were all there with me in spirit!

I couldn't get to many of the movies I wanted to see before I went, and I did want to keep these important ones for first-time reactions. Although I didn't get to see some of these on the big screen, I know I will one day. Don't get me wrong, I still saw several movies I had never seen before, they were amazing, and I'm glad I did. I was pulled in a lot of different directions by the presenters, or actors in the film, which had a massive part in some of the choices I made. I tried to prioritize world premiere restorations, and I would say the biggest regret was not seeing Mutiny on the Bounty (which would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience), Letty Lynton (which was top of my list prior to the festival), The Towering Inferno, and Notorious.

I do feel like for this festival, you can't go wrong with any movie because they are all amazing, such a fun atmosphere and at every screening, there is someone amazing to hear from, so overall, there are no regrets.

These are the movies I wanted to see but couldn't because they either conflicted with my schedule of the ones I wanted to attend, and/or I hadn't been able to see them before the festival! (Some have not been added due to not being able to get them on stream or DVD...yet)

NOTE: I am being a touch evil here (and to keep it fun)...

Because I could only choose one film at a time that I could see at the festival, you only get one vote!

xx
