By the way, did you change the place where you watch it? I noticed the translation felt a little off sometimes.

sakinah

i didnt 😭 maybe it’ll go back to normal in the next one. and yeah i noticed right off the bat too HAHAH

sakinah

also! there’s tybw on netflix but i’m hesitant to switch over to netflix because ik the subs can be off there too. is there another website you’d recommend?

Quique

Just in case, episode 20 also had some wacky subtitles, though it wasn't as noticeable as this one. Lmao yeah now I just got to the part where you point it out lol. I think it's an issue with these two episodes or something lol

Enalyram

Quite a lot of the fight between ichigo and the Quincy girls is new to the anime. Wasn’t in the manga which is cool. Including the sailor moon transformation bit. I don’t know Japanese to know what the correct translations are but the subs are a lot different to the official ones. Hard to know which is more right but in the manga they are called the special war potentials. Aniwave.to is where I’d watch it. The reason there’s no poem at the end this time is because the next episode after this was a recap episode so the poem went at the end of that instead. Pretty sure no streaming sites even the official ones uploaded that so you don’t have to skip anything the next ep will be the new one.

Ichigoat

You can say special war power or threat it doesn't really matter. So far you have meet 3 of the 5 members. Kenpachi, Aizen and Ichigo.

sakinah

thank you! i’ll check it out 😁

sakinah

thanks for the site rec! and i see!! thanks for letting me know. (about the recap ep)

Enalyram

Also forgot to say this before but it’s weird the episode doesn’t just tell you the schrifts of the Quincy girls. In the manga it tells you all of them. They are: Liltotto - G the glutton Meninas - P the power Candice - T the thunderbolt Giselle - Z the zombie

Polygon

For some reason the anime doesn't reveal the Femritter schrifts even though the manga does, so here you go if you're curious: Sternritter G, "The Glutton" Liltotto Lamperd Sternritter P, "The Power" Meninas Mcallon (fun fact, the light novels state that in terms of raw physical strength her schrift makes her comparable to Kenpachi) Sternritter Z, "The Zombie" Giselle Gewelle Sternritter T, "The Thunderbolt" Candice Catnip

thank you!!! will add to my notes asap
