Ye i can't see the post in the Bleach collection, but i didn't look at the whole patreon yet. The previous post before 267/268 is 227. Let me take a look at the whole patreon real quick.

Ye it's not included in the bleach collection, that's why i couldn't see it! It's on the patreon wall tho. I use the collection as a list rather than full size posts, so it's easier and faster to find older episodes.

You need to understand that Ulquiorra is an atypical hollow. Usually hollows are human souls "plus" in which the chain break because their desire is obsession and they stay obsessed over something or someone in the real world. So these hollows know very well what is a desire, or a heart, or emotions in general. Ulquiorra is born as an hollow directly, born and raised in Hueco mundo. He doesn't know anything about humans, desires, affection. It's all something new and strange to him. He removed his mask and became an arrancar way before Aizen arrived with the Hogyoku, like Stark did, that's why his and Stark strengths are exceptional because their transformation in arrancar is more natural and not forced by someone else like Aizen. Ulquiorra interest and fascination in understanding human nature is so beautiful: he got closer to be a human and to find a purpose in his life while ichigo, as opposite, got closer to an hollow nature. Bleach depth and philosophy amazes me everytime.
