- Alex Fleming, Chief Marketing Officer at Sherpa Equipment, is currently down in Baja exploring and getting ready to spectate the Baja 1000 with Starlink. "Testing out a new Starlink Mount design using the Starlink Mini, this thing is awesome. Power consumption on 12v is very minimal and speeds are great."
- Clarus Networks Group has announced they offer a fully certified Starlink service for trains. In partnership with ScotRail and supported by the Scottish Futures Trust, Clarus will soon deploy Starlink on Scotland’s Far North Line, equipping Class 158 trains to address long-standing connectivity challenges in the Scottish Highlands. - Emad Rashidi (@EmadRashidi) using Starlink Mini in Mongolia. "Exploring in remote Mongolia with my Mini staying connected anywhere, in any weather conditions. The durability has been incredible."
- Obuoy Well Solutions (OWS), oilfield specialist out of Kuala Lumpur, have successfully completed their first Starlink pilot installation and deployment. ■ X:

- MSM organization The Guardian announced it will no longer post content on X because it considered the benefits of being on the platform are now outweighed by the negatives. "We wanted to let readers know that we will no longer post on any official Guardian editorial accounts on the social media site X." The Guardian has more than 80 accounts on X with approximately 27 million followers. This is how legacy media fades away.
Per Linda Yaccarino (@lindayaX), "X usage is at an all-time high and continues to surge. To all of our users of every interest, political party, and point of view, you will always have a place to engage and join the global conversation freely and safely. Legacy gatekeepers are yesterday’s news."
■ xAI:
- Grok has, or will soon have, the ability to do web search.
- Per xAI's Hieu Pham(@hyhieu226), "The wall LLMs are hitting is an exploitation / exploration border. We have exploited ever larger models and textual datasets. It's time to explore something else. The caveat is that, this "something else" is much more similar to what we are exploiting than most people think."
