- Last Friday, Tesla, its shareholders, and directors filed reply briefs with the Delaware Supreme Court, challenging the Chancery Court's 2024 decision to rescind Elon's $56 billion compensation package. The briefs argue the 2024 shareholder ratification vote should stand, question Musk's classification as a controlling shareholder with less than 50% stock, and contest the $345 million attorney fee award to plaintiff Richard Tornetta. The hearing is expected in August this year and a verdict by November or December. Ale𝕏andra Merz (@TeslaBoomerMama) has written a great X Article about it. Link in the sources section.
