I made some designs and attended my first furcon (Patreon)

This year I started working on my own merch as Galuss/Navajas for events and a future online store. So far, the desgins are mostly centered in magical and/or dark looking creatures, whether they are animals or anthropomorphic beings.
These are the first designs I made for a series I called Spirit Animals. I'm very happy with them and want to make at least 3 more. The illustrations are pretty big so I might use some for shirts or tote bags, but this time I used them for some acrylic charms 🌟
And now it's time for an update related to the context in which I made these. It's in quote format so you can skip it if you want to.
As usual, I was very stressed, juggling paperwork and anything necessary for surviving in a foreign country. Yes, I finished studying, but trying to stay and make a living in Spain is a whole different adventure with a new level of intensity and complexity and the pressure sure increases.
As a result, I ended up disappearing from most internet places as a way to cope with this situation to a bit of an excesive point. This is were the good part comes. My friend Whik the Ram offered to share a table at a furry convention and I signed up without fully knowing what it would imply. The result was me forcing myself to be productive again in order to have enough material to set a table.
The convention was the first edition of Ibercon, here in Spain, and I had a great time. While it was really demanding to prepare for my first convention ever while trying to keep up with all the other stuff, the experience made me regain confidence in my art and style, finding joy in being in a community again.
Once it was over, I was exhausted but very motivated. Right after, I got very busy again with different projects, but I finally recovered from it and am back at doing my thing. But more importantly, I'm trying to shape up what I want "my thing" to be.
That's it for today!
I'm very excited to participate in the next edition of Ibercon! If you are anywhere near and consider going, I highly recomend it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for remaining here, supporting me. It means the world to me to have people having my back during the tough periods of life. I'll be back soon with more drawings and news.
