Commissions and a trip! (Update) (Patreon)
Content
TL;DR:
Pictures are: Some commissions I finished and scanned but have to be edited yet, two pics of a bit of my work at the studio (flaming heart and fire, not the hand), current status of my trip and the materials I brought with me.
I’m on an intense trip en and will be back to drawing in a week.
I’m also taking traditional commissions starting today. Digitals will stay mostly closed until I finish editing and completing the ones I already started/scanned. Feel free to ask, the media I can work with are pencils, gouache and ballpen.
Now, for the update: I started writing this a week ago and I edited in little bits of my trip during the last few days. I’ll keep what I wrote in italics and then continue on the present date.
I’m happy about the progress with commissions, but pretty much all of them still need a couple steps to be completed. The reason I finished them only up to certain point is because I’m leaving on a trip to Perú right now.
I am taking my laptop with me of course, and a small tablet, which is why I wanted the hardest steps to be done and to have everything scanned before leaving.
I’m very excited and happy to visit my family and friends after two years away. This is also a very needed rest for my hands after the hours and hours colouring with pencils at the studio (the trip is just two days after finishing my internship).
I’m also taking some art materials with me 🌟, I’ll be able to work after the first two weeks, which will be the ones I’ll spend most of my time visiting places and family in different parts of the country, so I won’t be taking much with me.
Back to today, I’m in the middle of those couple weeks. I’m a bit sad I wasn’t able to finish things completely before my trip, but my schedule was really crazy during my last days in Spain. Good thing is being away from drawing for a time makes me eager to get back at it, and I’m moving and sleeping a lot after a long period of severe shrimpification and poor sleep.
That said, just like I mentioned at the top, I’m opening traditional commissions for my time in Perú (which lasts one more month after my intense trip is over). Feel free to ask about any idea you have that includes pencils, gouache, or ballpen. They can be full illustrations or a set of sketches.
That’s it for now! Thank you for reading, feel free to reach out and I’ll be back in a week 💫
