The Dark Knight VII

Tron Legacy? What happened to Tron? Ya’ll skipped a movie and won’t know the villains in the 3rd film. 🏍️🥏

Is the 1982 Tron worth checking out? We figured Tron Legacy was a new version of the old one.

The Dark Knight VII

lol it’s okay, just wanted to give ya’ll the heads up before the Tron fans and YouTuber grill ya’ll, Yes definitely worth checking out it’s a Sci-fi classic like the classic Starwars trilogy, all the movies are connected and take place after each other. Sadly there are only 3 movies that exist, it’s took them 40 years just to make 3, Disney dosnt love Tron like they love Starwars. Release order is : - Tron 1982 - Tron Legacy 2010 - Tron Ares 2025 Oh and welcome to the Grid Sam Flynn. 🖤🤍🥏

I watched the original Tron 1982 on TV around the mid-80s, when I was only a little kid, and I remember that the visual effects blew my mind. But if you watch it for the first time in today's age, it will probably be impossible to not see it through the lens of modern effects and thus be less impressed by it. Back in 1982 there were no computer animation programms, you had to manually input the coordinates for every single frame. So there is only about 15-20 minutes of actual computer generated animation in that movie. A lot of it is traditional hand drawn animation and matte paintings, made to look like computer animation. I would recommend watching Tron 1982 before Tron Ares 2025, because there are references to the original movie. Although they are mostly nostalgic in nature and therefore not relevant to understand the plot. Strangely, Tron Ares acts more like a sequel to the original movie than to Tron Legacy, at least in my opinion.

Wow that's so cool! Yeah we gotta check out the 82 version first before moving on to the newest one
