the Stallone version Judge Dredd is goofy but a fun time. definitely a different vibe lol it reminds me a lot of Demolition Man. this version Dredd, came out in 3D and was a big part of its marketing. i think peope were sick of 3D at the time, which hurt its box office return. respect to Carl Urban for committing to keeping the helmet on!

The Dark Knight VII

Judge Anderson welcome to MegaCity 1 😉, this place is 100 times worse than Gotham City lol, this is originally a comic book from England but takes place in America in the future, I wasn’t gonna ruin that a Lannister was the main villain in this, Karl Urban did a fantastic job by not taking his helmet off, that’s how it was in the comics, we never saw his face, just his frown lol. There’s a 90’s version Judge Dredd starring Stallone, it’s a little more sillier and not as serious as this movie if yall wanna check that out.

Sam & Tristan

lol the Gotham comparison is awesome, I'd definitely rather be in Gotham City than Mega-City One. I noticed in my very mild research before watching this that there was the 90s Stallone one but that this newer one was known to be more enjoyable so we decided to start here but if it's worth checking out, we may just have to do that!

The Helmet commitment was wild! lol That stinks that the 3D negatively impacted the movie's box office success
