Episode 23 High Res (Patreon)

You ever get something like a movie or a game, but then chuck it on the shelf while telling yourself "I'll get to it later!" Then years go by and then a better version of it is now out, so you question whether you should go upgrade despite the fact you already own the thing and have yet to check it out?

I say that because I see that the bluray for Animal Treasure Island is coming out soon, yet I've had the DVD copy for nearly a decade and have yet to actually watch it. It has some cool old school Hayao Miyazaki animated cuts which is reason enough for me to watch it by itself. And hell, it's only 78 minutes long! I could bust that out and be done with it tonight!

But then if I watch it now, then I might not feel the urge to upgrade to the bluray, and then years go by and it's out of print, and then I go "Why didn't you upgrade, SpongeBob? Whyyyyy?"

This is the part where I go "I'll just watch it tonight!" But most likely I'll wind up wasting time reading the news on reddit and collapse into a slump.

...Oh wait, it has an English dub, so I can half watch it while half reading the news and collapse into a slump all at the same time! Multi-tasking!
