This tears my heart to pieces because I know Kageyama didn’t mean anything negative in what he said, but it doesn’t hurt any less to have your relationship delegitimatized by the person you’re with, whether it was intended to do that or not. The way Hinata’s flush dissipates as the words sink in, the way the calls stop… I know how much that can hurt. And at the same time… from a storytelling perspective, I LOVE it. I love the very real emotions here and I am ready to be torn to shreds and put together again.
