Idk if this was your intention, but I love the seedlings of how Kaiens ADHD could possibly effect their future relationship. How Nao doubts and Kaien reassures. Although the conflict of Kaien moving at his own pace, whereas Nao desperately tries to keep up. That little mention of the driver's lisence is such an impactful detail when it comes to the reality of Kaien vs Nao. Nao fears being left behind, but Kaien lives in the present. However, there's also the beautiful implication of Kaien tethering Nao to the ground when he starts to drift away. Ughk, it's just such wonderful story building and I adore the boys so much.
