The quality and evolution of the animation is amazing. I think it just need a better way to download ALL files of each tier once, search for each post (now it's more than 180) it's confusing and messy to organized by type > static / animated. Maybe one permament link for each TIER with all files updated. Maybe it's to big or I dunno. thanks!

Lone Wolf

Oh wow! You just keep doing cooler and cooler things :) Nice work!

Dan Bultman

im having trouble getting the right Adobe installed....I think.... the files will not drop in place, when I drop them in the editor. any ideas? I can see them to click on but I get the (red crossed out circle) when I hove over the drop box.

dynamicdungeons

1. Try to remove manually everything from Userfolder/DynamicDungeons (simply delege the files) 2. Install the c++ visual redist x86 3. Restart your machine 4. Start again the editor app (it will create the folders again in your userfolder. Drag n drop only works inside the app from left to the story grid in this version. So you cannot move files from outside ito the story. If your editor/resources folder contains assets it ahould appear on the left in the editor, or you can left click on the story grid and import an image or a video. If you still have trouble send me the log file plz generated in your log dir. dynamicdungeons@gmail.com

Tony Quinn

Any chance a download all option is coming?

Guoccamolé

Are there any zip files (per project, per tier) for the files (to avoid all the clicks to download)? Or does anyone have any tips (preferably iOS) to sidestep the gruntwork?

Robert Bramlett

Hello. New chaotic good patron here. Do you have a link to a down he archive in one swoop or do I have to go through the site and manually do it?

dynamicdungeons
>>15454583

Hi Robert, thank you for joining! No, there is no one shared folder containing all rewards, you have to go through the posts.

Nicolas Duarte

This might be a dumb question, but if I become a patron now do I get access to your previous content too?

dynamicdungeons
>>15763770

Yes, you will have free, instant access to all previously released maps, which you can download without making any additional payments. When joining, you can choose a donation tier for future releases.

Jorge Vargas

So I have a question will you being doing anything like the planes of the elements for Dynamic Dungeons?

Conrad Staier

I found a cool extension for Roll20 called VTT Enhancement Suite that lets me use your videos there. So useful.

Zelosh

OMG thank you for organizing these. I don't keep up with the monthly updates so I use this page when I need stuff for a game.

Swiechu

In my opinion it is awesome. My players will worship You.

Gene & Linnea

This is indeed great, and I appreciate it. Is there any chance you have a folder with all the material in it for the CG level? If not, it's only 40 downloads to manage. :-)

Mike Chinakos

I'm just now building my digital battle mat! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! I'm so stoked to unleash this coolness on my players!

Christopher Brownawell

Morning, New chaotic good patron here, I have to say your work is beautiful, and i look forward to using them in my campaigns. I was also wondering if you take requests? the reason i ask is because every Christmas, i run a game for my kids called "The Christmas Heist" and i don't have a decent map for the game. "<a href="https://www.dmsguild.com/product/262319/The-Christmas-Heist" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.dmsguild.com/product/262319/The-Christmas-Heist</a>"

Cameron Holt

Happen to have a Google Drive link that I can just download instead of going into each individual link with more links contained within to download?

Cameron Holt
>>19321821

P.S. - LOVE all the work. Super excited to build a table and put all these fantastic sceneries on my 40" TV right in the middle as our map!

dynamicdungeons
>>19623916

The gridded HD maps are optimized for 40”, the UHD maps for 50”. Most of the maps were released in HD.

Z3r0B3at

Random question for a new patron found this in my quest to try to use the VTT enhancement suite for roll20 and looking for how best to try and use these great maps there

Patryk Zapala

Hey I am just new patron. I try to convince my friends to get TV and try out animated dungeons instead of editing and printing maps. It looks like you are the best of all in making these maps. Can I just ask how frequently you add new content ? So we dont run dry on maps :) Cheers

Hi, Thank you and welcome to the community. I release 3 map packs per month and there are usually 2-5 different motion maps in every pack.

antonio

Amazing work. I went from a projector to installing a screen inside a pimped pingpong table. Your creations look AMAZING. We are going to test this tonight and further on next sunday. Cant wait to see the players faces! Thanks.

MARCELO ROSSI COIMBRA CAMPOS

Hi, This is my first time being a patron from anything, but your work really deserve it. Trying to reach the archives now (Im really bad browsing this website lol). If the options are as good and they seen on demo, i will upgrade my pledge pretty soon. Thank again for your work

Ron Petersen

Is there a complete text list of all the file names somewhere? I am loading up and organizing all the maps but I feel I am sure I missed some. I honestly would have paid good money to just have a thumb drive all loaded up ready to go. :) Such awsome work. Have on considered doing other themes like Sci Fi, Modern day, The old west, the 1930s etc?

ScooterNH

I'm a new patron too. Your animated maps are awesome and so immersive! Thanks so much for creating everything. I'd also love to see an old American Western town setting,, and some sort of boat/ship kit that could go with the new D&D's Ghosts of SaltMarsh. (Hope it's not rude to post requests here, I didn't see another place to do so).

dynamicdungeons
>>22523579

No problem of course to suggest themes, thank you! The upcoming reward will be an ocean themed pack with pure ocean scenes and new ships.

The DD website is under construction and coming soon, where you'll be able to find everything organized. Modern maps won't come to this Patreon, but I plan to start the DD modern era section on the website.

John Hodson

Really, really amazing work chief - one quick question though - are the Fighting Arena maps permanently down or the link has just gone astray?

Joseph Booth

New CG Patron here. Great stuff. Thanks!

AAW Games

Thank you for all these incredible maps! I finally was able to download them and hope to use soon in my gaming group.

William Warmbold

Great maps, can't wait to try them out with the new table I'm making. Just had a couple questions. 1. Do you have any plans to make the older map packs easier to download in .zip files like the newer ones? Its really nice just being able to download the google drive zip folder for each of the newer packs, keeps everything organized better. 2. For the map player/manager is there an easier option to switch between different scenes? It works great for a dungeon layout, going from room to room using the arrow keys. But it would be nice to be able to load all the maps from an adventure and be able to see them and switch using the manager, rather then closing and opening a new file. Just a thought, Keep up the good work.

Adam Leistico

New CG'er - truly impressed with all the work you have put in here - these are gonna be a big dang upgrade for my sessions! I'm generally looking around the web for transparent BG animated props like single breezy trees and whatnot, have those been included in any of these packs? I guess this is my vote for some modular pngs and animated elements to fancy up even static maps! Right now I am using the particle effects that are included (which are amazing, by the way), but would love some additional options to alter things like the grasslands!

Tanner Frey

this might be a little dumb to ask, but if i sign up for Chaotic good and pay say $5 for the 1st month do i get everything in the archive or do i need to choose which map i want and then $5 every other map i want? i ask because i'm on govt assistance and might not be able to do a consistent sub, but the work you do looks great!! i wanna support this even a little bit!

dynamicdungeons
>>25224888

Hi, thanks for reaching out, you'll get immediate access to all of the maps, and won't be charged for the earlier releases, just for the upcoming ones. Welcome to my generous community of supporters!

Glitch-D

Hi, i´m fairly new and i remember when i joined i saw somewere a link to reach like all the files, i´m unable to find such link could you point me to the right direction? im CG, thanks and keep the great work!

Ben Valle

How can i use these maps, what program do i use to open them.

Dave the Software Guy

Ben, you have some options. There is a player app that the folks at Dynamic Dungeons make, but you can also use any video player. I use VLC.

Jon W

Is there a way to auto generate thumbnails to use in the Dynamic Dungeons Editor with the UHD mkv files? I can import them fine, but without thumbnails everything just shows up blank on the grid. I feel like I'm missing a step somewhere.

dynamicdungeons
>>25993271

If you manually delete the thumbnails subfolder the editor will regenerate all of the thumbnails upon the next launch. Make sure that you have the latest version installed.

Rafael Fonseca Jr

Hi I have a question on how this website works. So if i was to buy the $5 tier, what do I get right away? Do I get all the maps you have created in the past? or just whatever you create next? Thank you

Maximilian Lancaster
>>26274832

Hey Rafael - if you pay $5/month, you get access to the entire catalog as long as you remain a subscriber. I'm not the owner, but I've been a backer for a few months and I highly recommend it.

Glenn Diaz

Ok. I caved (hehe) and got the CG pack. Now as soon as the new version of the app comes out, I can download it finally and really get into this.

Carpe Noctem

I cannot for the life of me find your magical particle effects ANYWHERE. I know I had them at some point, but I don't know what happened to them or where to find them again. Please make them easier to find.

Jetpackpaul

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an asset pack like trees, paths, and ruins that we could use in the map editor. It'd be so helpful!

Giz Gewirtz

Ditto on the asset pack! Walls, pillars, and corners so we can add to existing maps would be amazing. Thank you for all the work, it has transformed our RPG experience.

Paul Wielopolski

Could anyone tell me, if I get the CG pack, does it allow me access to the Dynamic Dungeons Editor and Player, or is that $30 on top of the tier payments?

Vincent Fontes

Hello I just bought the editor and I payed for the 5 dollar CG pack and have been trying to figure out the Editor program. I have been trying to get my player to actually play my static images but I just get a black screen. I load all my images in order on the editor, then I go to the manager and the player loads up right after and my screen freaks out and the player comes in with a black screen. Any idea why that happens? Thanks for the help.

Brian Leybourne

Does the display app have any kind of masking ability, so I can (for example) display a dungeon map but hide the rooms the players haven't entered yet?

James Matasovsky
>>31287953

Having used the DDEditor/Manager/Player for a couple weeks for encounters, Yes, you can turn on Fog of War for a map by clicking on the map in the editor and then the changing the "no FOW" slider. it will then show completely black, and you can use the tools to brush away the fog as your players go.

miguel flores

Are these able to be played/used on a Chromebook with any particular video player?

Rebekah Wheadon

Great work on all of your maps! I use them with Encounter+ on my iPad (which means I don’t get the awesome sounds, alas, but we make do!). I’ve noticed that in some of your older posts, you link the video files directly instead of via Drive — which means I can’t download them with my particular set-up. Any plans to add in the Google Drive links? You have such a robust back catalogue that I want to be able to browse/download all of them!

Romulo Vinhas

I was going to use the editor on an iMac I have put in a DIY support. Is the editor going to work or do I have to have two separate screens (like a computer plus a TV)?

Dave Nike

Hello Dynamics dungeon, is there a way to get all of my CG rewards in one place ? I am considering writing script to parse the page, so many links + having to add them to GDrive, waiting for slow zipping for UHD files ... it is very very inconvenient :( Thanks in advance

Daniel Hernandez

Second what Dave said! Honestly - this is my favorite Patreon, you seriously do some amazing work. But I'd love an option to download all in one pack:) Hard to keep up with the individual resources (haha, not that I'm complaining - keep em coming!)

Luko

A download all option would be great! :D

Anonymous

The link for the 2020 archives does not work for me.

HuskyHighlander23

Man, I found this on a random Reddit post and I am hooked. I cannot wait to have real sessions with my friends and use these maps

Dániel Mezö

Hi, I am downloading all like a maniac :D I've just noticed that I think the links for the Fighting Arena are missing from here.

Endor

The Fighting Arena and the Silken Paths links aren't accessible from here. Thanks for all the work done :)
