Admin Notes:
Hello friends. Yesterday I changed the links to my drives and it was an absolute nightmare. It took forever for the files to upload properly. The links sometimes didn't work. And when things finally did work I got some terrible news...
People are still complaining about download quotas being met. Which means there are people out there still using API / Auto sync programs that are ruining the experience for everyone else.
I just can't believe it. I don't understand why some people are doing this but if you're out there and reading this please please stop. I'll happily upload a 1TB file into my drive somewhere just to ruin your system if you don't stop. So once again, out of the kindness of your heart, please stop using the API / Auto sync programs on my drives.
Due to this mess its clear changing the drive links every month is a redundant task so I don't think I'll be doing that again.
To Bypass "Download Limit Exceeded" Error in Google Drive one user in the Discord figured this out:
Create a folder in your own drive
Click on the file you want to download, go to organise->add shortcut.
Place the shortcut in the folder you just created
Repeat 2 & 3 for any other files you want (probably best to batch into groups of 5-10 models to avoid timeouts)
Go to you own drive and download the FOLDER (Goolgle will zip the contents and let you download it)
But onto more cheerful topics...
Spooky Tome of Beasts Monsters!
Today I made:
Sap Demon - this is a creepy ooze that a haunted tree creates to defend itself from anyone trying to cut it down. It was a really fun model to sculpt up! I recommend printing this on its back if you use FDM. For resin the usual presupported file is up.
Sarcophagus Slime - this undead slime is created by powerful magic casters to protect the sarcophagi of powerful patrons. It was a neat combination of terrain modeling and sculpting, thus making it a lot of fun to create. For FDM printing you can just print it as is. Maybe put a support under the casket top.
That's all for now! Enjoy!
