Monster Manual 2025 - The Black Dragon WIP (Patreon)

Hello friends! While today is technically a holiday in the U.S. I thought I'd get some modeling done anyway and started working on the new Monster Manual creatures! I want to start with the dragons first because dragons are my favorite creatures. So first up is the Black Dragon! This was a really amazing creature to work on and I really do love the update it got in its look. I really loved sculpting the little crocodile aspects of this. It feels very much like it belongs in a swamp :D

Given the massive amount of work needed in making a dragon I'm only able to share a Work in Progress pic. I figure in another day or two of work it'll be done done, with an Ancient, Adult, Young and Wyrmling versions. The Ancient and Adults will be flying given only a stupid dragon would fight on the ground. The Young will be on the ground cuz... young and dumb lol. The wyrmling will be in puppy mode because he's just a little guy. All of my dragons will follow this pattern btw.

Anyway I'll keep working on this and let you know when all four are ready to go soon! Stay tuned!
