Between larger projects, I've worked on a few smaller pieces in recent months that seemed worth sharing. First a portrait of Bex, who's been a friend for a long long time, and afforded me every excuse I've ever had to draw a panda!

This otter girl showed up as the subject of a very quick color study. She's the result of some recent effort to nail down a soup-to-nuts illustration process that doesn't require constant reinvention every time (which can be very time-consuming, and not super conducive to actually finishing work).

Finally, a commission for FenrirsMoon of some plantigrade anthro feet on the more human-leaning side of the spectrum. He wanted a reference to give other commissioned artists and this has apparently already been put to use.

At the moment I'm working on a very rare piece of fanart. Rare for me anyway. You'll never guess which early 2000s furry waifu stole my heart :P

Very nice. Always nice to see what you're doing

OnyxLupine

Otter girl looks cute ^.^

DeltaRedWolf

The raptor feet are my favorite. It's awesome to see the reference being put to good use already! 🤩

Kord Graves

Lovely diversity as always! Beauty captured in a most beautiful form🐺💜

Goddamn_Bats

Thanks for showing the new work off! I'm guessing the furry waifu is..... Krystal?

Codswallop

Rodents are the closest big group related to primates, so it'd make sense they'd have the most human-like feet.

Marie The Foxy

lovely new pix, it would be nice to see a study on more different plantigrade feets, like felines, id say skunks and other mustelidae but they're all plantigrade already if I recall right

Adleisio Cefnfor

I definitely appreciate the foot references for plantigrade variation.

The Littlest Pitbull

For reasons I won't go into, unless you super duper want to know, I'd love to see how you would do big cat feet.

Keleaux

The otter is stunning

Kalahari

Oh, I get you. This isn't the first request I've had for big kitty paws, so the pressure is mounting >.>

Kalahari

I think a skunk would be similar to the raccoon feet, but they fit the plantigrade style very well. I really want to get around to drawing more of them for that reason.

Kalahari

It would be shocking if it wasn't Krystal. But I've got to add an element of suspense...

Kalahari

This is what it took to get me to draw dinos I guess!

The Littlest Pitbull

Dr. Henry McCoy is one of my favorite comic book characters. I have a wonderful feeling that you could depict what his feet would actually look like in his Leonide form.

Bex

Oh hey it's me 🐼
