Even if fall is only half-heartedly showing up right now, I’m making some little transitions into cozy season. All the ingredients for mulled apple cider are on the counter waiting for me to make a batch. And I guess I can't let this beautiful bottle of dark rum go to waste...

So, I started this sketch page by playing around with a fun pose that promised to show off all the goods. And whatever I was going for at first, fossa quickly came to mind. This became “And I don’t need You” (FA | e621) and if I had it to do over again I’d give her a better view of the screen than right between her knees.

Elsewhere, a little doe is trying to be a ray of sunshine to a sad-boy buck who’s having an existential crisis. And as I’m thinking about how fun the scarf-only look is -- and how fun the backpack-only look was in the last upload -- I have to consider the fact that I might just be excited about any outfit that comprises a single article of clothing... Anyway, this sketch got the watercolor/marker treatment as “Liminal Spaces” (FA | e621).

A school-age Petra also shows up here, getting color treatment as “New Kid” (FA). It gets better, girl. It does.

There’s a few tepid explorations of Juno opening her mouth for us. This might deserve more attention, of the totally-lurid-mawshot flavor...

If fall is underway for you, I hope you’re finding your own means of coziness. And if you’ve got your own seasonal traditions, I’m actually very curious to hear.

Ooooh, deer! ❤️. And I whole-heartedly agree with the idea of single-article-of-clothing-only outfits. Enjoy the apple cider!

Beautiful as always! The ‘single article of clothing’ look is lovely, and seeing some more of Juno’s maw would be great. In terms of cozy traditions, I’m looking forward to bonfire night here in the UK, a big bonfire and lots of fireworks to lighten up the encroaching darkness, and possibly some hot chocolate to keep warm. 🙂

Here it's spring (other hemisphere), so all the plants are in flower with a sea of different colours... still cold mornings but longer days - not really a tradition, but walking to see the flowers and savour the smell of spring before summer starts drying everything!

I'm a Halloween nut, so I'm enjoying watching Transworld compilation reruns. I like seeing cool spooky props and animatronics! As for general Autumnal comforts, I've been enjoying nightly chai tea lattes, making my chai with some half-and-half and Torani's classic caramel flavored syrup! It's the only other beverage next to apple cider that tastes like autumn to me! I'm also curious to know what the sketch of the two otter dudes casually "hangin' out" was for...

You'll need to share how you make mulled cider next! lol. Sounds good. My traditions are just being me. So much has gone on in the past few years that all the traditions I used to celebrate have gone by the wayside. Thank you for sharing a bit of your traditions. Love the sketches. Seeing how it started as to what it became. Good luck on future work.

So many gems in here! I'm particularly fond of the Petra without hair and the sad buck! As for coziness, I'm starting each morning with a hot cup of chai I brew with milk. Yum!

It's really nice anytime we get to see sketches :D. And is that the linework for the Star trek scene, I see? I can't get over how much it makes me want to bust out my Star trek Medical division jacket. I'm not a nerd, I swear. I just really like space, I also like space even more when it has foxes in it. Speaking of foxes, Juno's maw :). I can't express how cool it is anytime we get to see Juno from that perspective. I'm not super traditional, but I do enjoy how being in the subtropics in the Fall almost begs for the coziness of Bandana or Scarf wear, I needed an excuse to put one back on anyway!
