"It's not so bad once you get used to it."

Typical ice-types. With winter setting in, I just wanted to enjoy some snow vicariously through a little art. Snowy landscapes feel at their coziest to me on overcast days, or when the only light illuminating them comes from houses and streetlamps. I was thinking about doing a whole cluster of snow-covered cabins in the background to kind of evoke my beloved Frosty Village (the track in Diddy Kong Racing), but decided to keep it more focused with the color composition. I'll save that for another time...

Would share a mug of hot chocolate with/10 Though I feel like she would prefer frozen hot chocolate. I still remembering first learning about that concoction and trying to wrap my brain around how that works! Very cute!

That is absolutely lovely Kal! Been a while since I've seen you draw a glaceon, as lovely as ever. Especially with the lighting you have going on here.

DeltaRedWolf

I love how soft and smooth she looks! 😍

Couldn’t agree more

I wish I found your art sooner. The shading is lovely!

Skyler

You always draw the best Glaceon.

bLa

Best take on the best eeveelution.

Aelius

Gorgeous! I love the subtle color shifts in her skin (fur?) tone across her body. It really gives her some depth.

draegwolf

my kind of winter fun

Kiko

So wonderful!

The lighting feels warm and inviting despite the cold weather outside. And love seeing more Glaceon. :D

Kalahari

Thanks! And I'm glad you did come across it :)

It's been a long time, for sure. But Glaceon is the first Pokemon that comes to mind when I'm thinking up winter scenes.

Kalahari

Frozen hot chocolate... Too whimsical for me -- needs a new name. I'm sure it's her preferred style though x3

Admiral Storm

An easy first one to think of, especially with how well you draw them!

Marie The Foxy

one thing I dont miss after leaving NY for the south is the snow, they can keep it up there

Jakerabbit

I love how the color contrasts on this work - the warmth of the cabin behind her, the clothing, the board, her - er, eyes!...they're all warm and inviting, while the rest is the cool colors of winter. :D
