Something about you looks odd to her...

Another sketch to work on rendering and color comp. I could have done more with her design, but I like the overall look and it might be a hopping off point (sorry) for a more finished piece in the future.

I like the "sizing you up" look from a character like this. The nudity is also cool too.

OnyxLupine

Saw roo, instant like! She's cute, you should draw more kangaroos >:3

DeltaRedWolf

She's gorgeous!! Her figure is so lovely and I love the curious, innocent expression on her face! It's fun to wonder why she's looking at me like that... Is there something between my teeth? 😁

Xaotherion

Huh, guess my species isn't common in these parts... Or do I simply have a leaf on my head? 😁 I do like this color composition you used here.

Kiko

So good!

Aelius

Oh she's cute! ❤️ The head tilt and expression are just perfect to cap off her beautiful form, with those amazing hips and thighs.

ThatDirgeDude

"You're... Not from 'round these parts, are ya mate?" I think I remember a beach roo from a lil while ago... Any relation, or different roo this time?

Iron Tiger Design

Such a darling expression, the mood is so well conveyed!

Adleisio Cefnfor

It is hard to adequately describe just how cozy these pieces have felt.

Bex

Pouches make great fidgets when nervous or unsure about things. Appropriate body proportions, roos need thick hips and thighs. I like the bracelets too

Xiscapia

We don't see enough roos in this fandom! Always love to see the rarer animals in your artwork. ^^

Viridia

Love the body proportions, especially the hips. They would seem too much on most other species, I think, but for a roo they're a perfect marker: a distinct difference that reminds us that we're not dealing with a human body. Those are the sorts of differences I love about anthro art.

Kalahari

Absolutely same. I love seeing artists playing off the species proportions and making it fit into a sort of human-coded world. Which is another reason I'm a big fan of size differences between species.

Kalahari

I'm so glad it reads as her fidgeting with her pouch. I wasn't sure if enough of it was showing ^^' It's pretty much at the exact right height for that.

Kalahari

I just hope the local wildlife is friendly... No relation to the beach roo (Kimber), maybe just a distant cousin. When I was drawing this one, I imagined someone totally removed from urban society.

Kalahari

It's the hips and thighs that make me love drawing these fellas, especially compared to their relatively slim waists!

Kalahari

Not everyone is used to bumping into wild marsupials! Even if it's super rough (the background especially) I think I could reuse these colors for a more fleshed-out scene. Which is good, because I can sink a lot of time into playing with color palettes :P

Kalahari

I think it's just your teeth. She's not used to wolves around here... Very happy you like the figure! It's easier for me to imagine what makes anthro kangaroos distinctive than most species.

Kalahari

Jewelry and other adornments can do a lot of work when clothing isn't really part of the picture. I'd love to explore more of that with her.

Fastenjaw

I swear if you ever did a roo adopt, I will try my hardest to win. There is something about the way you draw them that knock my socks off. And yes I know this is a real late reply but I was re-reminded when I was catching up lol.

Kalahari

I'll keep that in mind ;) I gotta give adoptables some thought again... I don't draw marsupials a whole lot, so it's really good to hear this one is up to scratch.
