Main download page for the free version of EVO including a short video tutorial on how to install the base version of EVO.
It's as easy as:

  • extract "RBR EVO.rar" to RBR root folder
copy contents of Maps/__EVO/_warthog-EVO-tracks.ini over the corresponding lines of Maps/Tracks.ini

  • extract "RBR EVO Retextures.rar to RBR root folder

Hint: you don't necessarily need the EVO Service Park Launcher that is included in the Patreon version to use the mod. The Launcher makes the installation and customizations way easier though, handling all the copying-, renaming- and restoring tasks for you. Also, some capacities of EVO can only be applied through the launcher (e.g. clouds, audio, dynamic reshade presets, etc). Take a look at what you would miss out on here.

++ I highly recommend taking a look in the manual attached. It has vital information on how to set up ReShade!
For example, when installing Reshade:
the following shaders need to be selected manually when installing the shaders, with some of them having to be selected manually:

Legacy effects:
AmbientLight.fx
Bloom.fx (you will need to select this one manually)
ReflectiveBumpmapping.fx (you will need to select this one manually)
FX Shaders by Luluco250
AdaptiveTonemapper.fx
Shaders by brussell
EyeAdaption.fx
qUINT by Marty McFly
qUINTsharp.fx
Color effects by prod80
PD8003_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights.fx
PD8004_Saturation_limit.fx
PD8006_Luma_Fade.fx
CorgiFX by originalnicodr
StageDepthPlus.fx (you will need to select this one manually)
GShade-Shaders by Marot
PirateDepth_DOF.fx

The download is up-to-date including all hotfixes and updates (RBR EVO v0.6.2):

Could this work with DLSS 5?

Richard Burns Rally EVO

Yes of course it would. The way DLSS5 basically works is it gets all the information of each frame, compares it with real life visual data in its library, and refeeds the adjusted frames back to the system in real time. Depending on the architecture of the game this works better in some and worse in others. For RBR unfortunately, for now, this doesn't really work well though. There is not enough to gain from it for the performance cost (on a mid GPU we're talking about "slide-show" speed. But of course this DLSS5 stuff is only getting better and at some point it will also feed back ai adjusted images to our beloved RBR. But even then the ai needs information to get the best results out of it. Think of particles fitting to the surface, think of different authentic looking weathers. So the more realistic and the more believable and the more compareable to real life data the source material looks the better the outcome the ai can come up with: So yes, it will not just work with DLSS it will give its future versions vital visual information to work with.
