Welcome to the newest Fizz Hangout! Every Friday, you all can stop by the weekly Fizz Hangout post and ask questions (to us or to your fellow patrons), discuss recent bonus scenes and/or podcasts with each other, and catch up on all the goodies you might've missed!

Our signed book store is restocked periodically. Keep checking it to see if a sold out item has been stocked. Any new updates will be posted here:

ICYMI: IMPORTANT NEWS

Once we sell out of our current inventory, we will be transitioning the store from signed books to signed bookplates.

What does that mean? The signatures won't be inside the book but your book will automatically come with a bookplate with both of our signatures.

Why the change? We no longer live together, so it's more difficult to carve out time away from writing to drive up to sign books. Bookplates are our solution, since we can ship them to each other.

If you REALLY need to finish your collection with signed books, NOW is the time to order them. Once a book sells out, the next time it's for sale on the store it will be signed via bookplate. (There will be an indicator when you're ordering a book signed via bookplate. As of right now, all signatures are inside the book.)

As an older sister I personally love seeing the fmc as the oldest sibling bc I can usually relate to them

I love a good group of sisters. I loved that Rose was the second oldest and yet she was still the one all her sisters went to. I enjoyed that it displayed that the oldest doesn’t have to be the one everyone goes to in crisis. I liked the same thing with Nik in The Failed Audition.

I’ve never had much of a preference. Though if she’s a middle child it could be best of both worlds and you could see the dynamic of having both a younger and older sibling 😂 Can’t wait to see you both tomorrow with Elle Kennedy 💕

If i had to pick, older sister or brother! Although, i love reading interconnected stories that offer POVs and stories from all siblings to further explore sibling bonds from different angles!!

Hi! I’m fairly new here so I apologise if the question has already been answered at some point. In some of the books it says that being a bodyguard to one of the Meadow’s girls is the best but also hardest and most coveted position. Why is that? Because the family travels to many places or because they are all sport enthusiasts and so the bodyguards have to be in prime shape or what is/are the reason(s)? 😊

I love reading about FMCs who are the oldest sister (bonus points if her younger siblings are boys) because I’m the older sister in my family and I often find it quite relatable, which I like 🥰 Every time I read about a character in a different sibling position to mine, though, I find it super interesting and a little fantastical. Like, I really connected on a personal level with Jane’s older sister-ing to her brothers in her books, but when I think about Audrey’s experience as the baby of the fam, I’m more entertained and fascinated (as opposed to seeing that part of my life in her). Super excited to read about the families in Dishonestly Yours! 🕷️🍓

personally i love a younger brother story- so FMC having younger siblings. however i am also a sucker for older brothers best friend!!! it really depends, but i do really really love when main characters have younger siblings.

I don’t have a preference. I just love books that feature families - large families, small families, found families! I also tend to like series that follow multiple siblings. The sibling books I like the most depends on the book itself more than anything else. For example, in ACOTAR I’ve liked Feyre’s books the most & she’s the youngest, in Bridgerton Benedict’s was my favorite & he is the middle brother, and in the HMC universe I’ve liked Moffy’s the most & he’s the oldest. Hey girlies happy Saturday! 🥞 As you’ve noticed i changed my PFP! haha decided to change it up and support our girl Emma! If i could have tea with someone…. or choose a sibling dynamic it would be the Hales family! I love close bonds, irrespective of which sibling placement it is, and still enjoy it would probably be Lily and Lo because we have to discuss X-Men and X-Men ’97 😜🤭. OR, I would just LOVE a to be Luna’s sibiling (bc I love seeing the world especially creatively, through her eyes 🥹) and Donnelly bc I love to hear her X-men takes and just see how Donnelly bubbles and responds to them ☺️. That could be entirely fun! (Potential bonus chapter idea? 😜🤞🗳️) Re X-Men ’97 is Done! Speaking of… X-Men ’97! Love it! 🤗We HAVE TO talk about it. What were your guys thoughts? What would you rate it? Fav things? Low things? What would the Hales say? Do you think they would watch it all together bc it's an event moment or do you think they would just watch them respectively in their own households (So LiLo at theirs, Marrow + Lunalley etc.) ? I can't wait for your thoughts? :D Re Hellion is hinted to make a return in the new X-Men era to come! YES! He is! But interestingly the more i learn about the new era starting the more i see everyone having mixed reactions! Mostly bc the new editor, Tom Breevolt is severely unpopular. Which makes everyone nervous. He’s a really big Jean and Cyclops pusher, hates marriages, wants Storm back in Avengers and not in X-Men like he as very big ideas that aren’t of the times you know? He also boasted about how he hated Krakoa which is really weird to brag about in interviews. It was very pick me of him lol. He really wants to callback regress X-Men lore back to the mutant massacre which a lot of fans don’t want. Krakoa didn’t need to be destroyed. The ending is rushed and so obviously forced. Just like the marriage of Emma and Tony. I also don't understand his, and fan's, insistence on mutants being utterly torn apart. It feels like people only like the X-Men when they're oppressed instead of thriving. And like, that's been the status quo for most of their existence. Why not let them thrive for a change? I think that's my biggest disappointment with the end of this era. Yeah, it had to end, but it didn't have to be utterly destroyed. And Ultimately, he said he was told to blow up Krakoa bc of the MCU mandated it. to my point about the impending MCU doom: https://twitter.com/bleedingcool/status/1790072471363764524?t=9eYTAk2ph_pJZScZ0JGwow&s=19 Which really makes my blood boil. Bc the two should be independent, So as to aid viewers to not think both are mutually exclusive and give writers, artists etc. credit for their work. Bc the MCU has taken without asking or giving credit or money not online stories, but also artwork without the artists consent. Ie. the Hawkeye intro opening is directly plagerised without asking David Aja and Annie Wu (artists on the run). It’s the very lizard man in a suit behaviour i kinda abhor. Bc it does ruin the reading experience somewhat when there are ulterior motives to change plot lines and push certain relationships in service for unethical reasons. Back back to Hellion, what do you guys think of the take that, Vulcan is a, older version of Hellion? I saw that somewhere and it’s kinda been on my mind. And I’m kinda into Vulcan… he’s kinda hot :P I drafted this whole pitch of why i think he should be Emma Frosts’s next love interest lol. The entire x-men is doing everything to distract from Tony and Emma clearly lol! Including me. IDK let me know what you guys (or the hales) would think about this all! Also this wasn't really confirmed in the cellphone snooping so I thought it would be a cute think piece- but what subreddits are the hales and if the meadows are, be a part of? Like what would they go out of their way and check pretty daily? What have been YOUR subreddit fav forums? :D Also final question- Would Loren hale read Comics on his iphone? Or in line with last weeks convo him being a purist, he would only read it in larger displays (or in person)? Who would read what on what device or who would read on both or exclusively one or the other?

I don’t have a strong preference! Like some other Patrons have mentioned, I think I just enjoy sibling bonds in general? 💭 I am also 𝘀𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 that the bonuses for this month might be in the PLU timeline (🥹🤞)! I adore all of the bonuses that we’ve received in that timeline! I’ve reread the “Guys Lunch at Cobalt Inc. (Farrow) - Part 2” bonus an exorbitant amount of times (😅). I cannot wait to see what these bonuses will be about & whose POVs they’ll be in! :) I also hope you guys had a fun time at the BAM signing! 🤎🤎

It's because of their travels and essentially "keep up" with them in various locations that aren't typical. And most of the time, it's needed for the bodyguard to A.) be athletic and B.) be able to ride a motorcycle bc there are plenty of times where they're on bikes and they're not going slow 😂

I still need to keep watching X-Men '97! As I emerged from the writing cave, I only saw one episode, but I LOVED it! Krista watched a bunch more than me. Ooooh for the subreddits, I do think Xander would be active on the LOTR reddits. There are a couple for the Rings of Power with VASTLY different views of that show. So it's pretty interesting. They'd be on X-Men sub as well. We're most active (meaning, we lurk lol) on the subreddits of whatever show we're currently watching, so we've been tuning into Survivor and MTV's The Challenge subs and Below Deck and 9-1-1. I think Bravo Housewives, in general, has a super active subreddit and it sort of covers all things Bravo at once. Do you have a favorite one you check out? He would definitely try mostly to read physical forms. I can very rarely see him reading on his phone. I feel like it'd aggravate him to be on such a small display that can't really replicate the size of a page. If any of them were to read on their phone, it'd be those who are okay with smart panels. Bc I don't know how else you can properly do it. So I could see Luna, Xander, and Kinney doing this. For some reason, I just can't see Moffy reading a comic via smart panels lol 😂 It feels like something he def would not do! Love our comic chats! I hope you've been having a kickass month, Laura!!!
